2nd Annual Halloween Bow Wow Beer Bash

Hearts for San Diego will be hosting their 2nd annual Bow Wow Beer Bash – Halloween Party and K9 Costume Contest on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Mission Brewery. All proceeds from this event will be donated to Tender Loving Canines Assistance Dogs (TLCAD), a local nonprofit that trains and provides service dogs to wounded warriors and children with autism. TLCAD builds bridges to independence by transforming the lives of individuals with disabilities, their families, their communities, the dogs at risk of euthanasia and the prison inmates who train them. This Halloween FUNdraiser will include craft beer, live music by Billy Fedak and a K9 Costume Contest, as well as pet vendors with animal friendly treats. California Tri Tip Co. and R&B Crawfish Lounge will be selling food, and Hubert's Lemonade will be giving away free drinks during the event. The K9 Costume Contest categories include Funniest, Spookiest, Most Creative, Best Owner/Dog Pair and People's Choice. Fifteen winners and their owners will receive prizes donated by Doozydog! Club and Hubert's Lemonade. The title sponsor for this year's Bow Wow Beer Bash is EarthWise Pet Supply East Village, a full service pet supply, groomer and self-wash destination. The family-owned and operated business offers organic dog and cat food and professional grooming for dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes.
