Animal World USA is pleased to announce Governor Tom Wolf has issued an encouraging Letter of Support for 10th Annual Pennsylvania Week for the Animals December 2-10, 2017! During the extraordinary week also previously proclaimed by Governors Ed Rendell and Tom Corbett, animal shelters, rescue groups, wildlife centers, educational institutions and humane organizations across the entire state will host fun-filled special events that saved lives, building relationships, helping animals and strengthening communities. Educators, students, businesses and caring citizens across the state will be helping the amazing animals while strengthening the communities. • Events include adoption events, low cost & free spay/neuter events, R.E.A.D. dog programs in libraries, dog training classes, youth activities for the shelter pets, 5k's, feral cat workshops, tack sales for the horses, pet food donations, farm animal sanctuary events, blessings for the animals, wildlife camps, benefits for horses, Christmas parades with shelter pets, adoption days at car dealers, campaigns for rescue groups, and therapy animals visiting hospitals and living-assisted homes. • Also included a salute to our working K-9 and handlers, seminars, low cost vaccinations, vegetarian meetups and vegan celebrations, and celebratory holiday festivals for families to enjoy friendship, food, music on behalf of the always amazing animals.
