This dog friendly event will be held from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on April 23, 2011 at Wills Park Equestrian Center in Alpharetta, GA. Sponsored by Star94FM and Pooch Porch Dog Spa & Daycare. Admission is $25 for pre-registration or $30 for onsite registration and benefits UGA's Arch Foundation.

Description
Walk 4 Paws supports and funds research efforts by the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine’s Pathology Department and the UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital’s Oncology Service to find more effective treatments for various forms of canine cancer. It also offers dog lovers an opportunity to show their support for dogs currently fighting cancer.
In addition, Walk 4 Paws enables pet owners to walk in memory of a lost friend. Our web site also features a “Rainbow Bridge” (www.walk4paws.net/walk/the-rainbow-bridge) where owners can post remembrances and pictures of a beloved animal to give hope or condolences to others facing similar hardships.
