It's A Pet aFair

We are in the process of making plans for our pet fair, It’s a Pet aFair. This coming year’s fair will be held on Saturday April 30, 2011 at the Gill Lynn Park in Dayton Ky (same place as last year). Rain date May 1, 2011 This coming year’s pet fair we are pleased that Highland Heights Pet WOW will be the sponsor for It's a Pet aFair. We will have an onsite heartworm clinic and Home Again along with an onsite micr...ochip clinic. We will be having our Pets On Parade pet parade and we are currently working on getting a grand marshal for it Also we are pleased to announce that we will be having the pet communicator Donetta Zimmerman. We will have demos from the Campbell County K9 Search and Rescue Unit, Highland Hts K9 Unit, and Dr Dan and the Stray Dog Band will be playing once again. This year we will also have an open car show sponsored by the Cincy Custom Street Machines . As many of you know this will be our seventh year sponsoring the pet fair. The first year we held the pet fair, it was put together in three weeks and we had 30 booths that were set up there mostly of which were rescue groups. Last year we had close to 70 booths total. This year we are hoping to have 70 booths. The pet fair always draws a large crowd. We do not charge the public admission /parking fees and that means more money that the public can spend at the rescue and vendor booths. The pet fair was started (and still is !) to help out SAAP (Stray Animal Adoption Program). The fairs goal was started and still is… with the intention of promoting all types of rescue groups and programs in the Tri-State area. This was not meant to be just for dog rescue, but all types of rescues. We have been very pleased that over the last six years that not only have we been able to let people know what rescues groups are out there that they may turn to when it comes time to either placing or adopting a pet, but also that they can go to these rescues to learn about the type of pet and care that they may have or are looking for and have fun at the same time. THERE IS NO SETUP CHARGE FOR RESCUE GROUPS. For vendors the setup charge is $50. We also have t-hirts/banner/booth specials - they are as follows--- $40.00 name on t-shirt, $70.00 name on t-shirt and banner, $80.00 name on t-shirt plus booth rental, $100.00 name on t-shirt, banner and booth rental. If your rescue group is interested in joining us once again or for the first time, please email me and let know if you will be able to attend this coming year’s pet fair. Please, as always, if you know of a rescue group that does not know about the pet fair, please forward this email to them. (Also, if anyone know of a potbelly pig or horse rescue please let me know as I would love to have them at our pet fair.)
