Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome at this event that will double as the grand finale of the Ortonville Farmers Market and a celebration of National Dog Week! Enjoy a morning filled with pet-themed vendors, artisan treats, giveaways, demos from local trainers, and tasty surprises for your furry companion, all while exploring the farmers market’s fresh produce and handmade goods.

The Michigan Renaissance Festival transports visitors to a lively 16th-century village filled with entertainment, shopping and medieval fun. Leashed dogs who are at least 6 months old and vaccinated are welcome to attend. Dogs must register and have proof of Rabies vaccination; only one dog per owner is permitted.

Strut your pup at the Dog Fashion Show at Chil_Space! Watch dogs hit the runway in their best looks, with prizes for the sharpest pups on the catwalk. Enjoy pup cups, local vendors, and a fun afternoon for the whole family. It is free to attend with leashes required, so bring your dog and their best look!

Visitors can enjoy a festive walk through a whimsically decorated village filled with glowing jack-o-lanterns, animated displays, fog effects and friendly Halloween characters. With countless photo ops, seasonal music, and themed treats available throughout the stroll, it’s the perfect way to celebrate Halloween magic with your leashed pup!

On the final Sunday of their fall season, Deep Roots Produce allows dogs to visit the corn maze! Please note that all pups must be leashed and well behaved. Owners must pick up after their dogs. Dogs aren't permitted inside the market barn due to food safety regulations, so please plan accordingly.

On select dates this holiday season (November 27-28, December 4-6, 11-13, 18-20, and 21-23), step into a winter wonderland with Fido at this ultimate outdoor holiday experience! This festive event transforms the charming village into a magical Christmas setting, complete with sparkling light displays, live holiday characters, a walk-thru Whoville, musical light shows, a nativity scene and photo-worthy moments at every turn. Visitors can meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, enjoy carolers, sweet treats, warm drinks, and seasonal shopping from local boutiques.

Leashed dogs are welcome outdoors at this annual celebration that features free cheese tastings, artisanal vendors, outdoor games, live entertainment, wine pairings, photo opportunities and a cheese sculptor creating artwork from a block of cheese. Guests can also enjoy a cheese curd eating contest, family activities, an outdoor bar and more.
