Humans won't be permitted to swim during this event (only ankle deep). Registration is divided by dog weight with pups under 30 lbs at 10 AM, pups 31 to 65 lbs at 11 AM, and pups 66 lbs or more at 12 PM. Cleveland Oktoberfest Wiener Dog Races The Cleveland Oktoberfest hosts Wiener Dog Races as part of the festival! The event will include heats for adult Dachshunds (1-8 years old) as well as for puppies (8 weeks to 1 year) and seniors (8 years and older). The adults run 40 feet, while puppies and seniors run 25 feet (though a few just run back to their owners). Four dogs will race in each heat. Races will be held Sat, Sept 5th – Mon, Sept 7th, and Sat, Sept 12th, with a costume contest at 3 PM each day. See Details
