Celebrate the official start of Oktoberfest with Fido at this annual event! Enjoy German-style beer releases, great music, German food, and limited edition souvenir beer steins handcrafted in Germany!

Leashed dogs are welcome at this annual event that features an Oktoberfest Bier Garten, as well as local food vendors, and arts and crafts exhibitors. This event is cash only and will be held rain or shine.

This annual event will feature raffles, a DJ, dog activities, including the famous pupcake walk, and more. Hilton Head Humane will have dogs available for adoption!

Bring Fido for a special blessing at this annual event. There will be live music, a food truck, photos, pet treats and more. Donations will be accepted for the humane society.

If you have a Wiener or almost Wiener dog, you cannot miss this annual event! All Dachshunds will be grouped by weight and must be less than 25 lbs to participate. In addition to racing, there will be other activities like a Doggy Parade and Costume Contest! Dachshund-mix dogs may race in special “Almost Wiener” heat, but are ineligible for the grand prize trophy run. Other breeds are ineligible to race, but are welcome to come cheer on their fur friends! Registered dogs need to check in at the registration desk between 9 AM – 10:45 AM.

Gather your Krew of buccaneers for this annual event! Entertainment throughout the weekend includes live music, pirate performances, a parade and a few surprises in between. Dogs must be leashed at all times within festival grounds. Pets aren't permitted on the beach.

This annual event takes place in the historic and Starland districts of Savannah and attracts over 1,000 participants with their furry friends each year. Bring Fido out for a spooktacular Halloween celebration! Show off your best costume during the Halloween fashion show on the iconic Liberty Oak stage at 2:30 PM. Costumes are encouraged, and all ages are welcome to take part in the festivities!

Every Saturday during October, bring Fido for a spooky outdoor scavenger hunt through the Wormsloe State Historic Site! Leashed dogs are welcome, but please note that Fido isn't permitted inside buildings. Visitors will follow clues to find the skeletons. If you find them all, you'll receive a treat.

This lively event invites guests to explore local galleries, shops, restaurants, and businesses that stay open late with drinks, snacks, and special offerings, all set to the backdrop of live music in the Signature Squares. Leashed dogs are welcome to join in the fun; however, please note that individual businesses set their own pet policies, so it's best to ask before bringing your pup inside.

Leashed dogs are invited to participate in this annual event that begins at the museum where you'll pick up a trail map and clues. Then, you'll take the 3-mile Battery Trail searching for clues! Finishers who find all the clues can return to the museum to claim a prize (while supplies last!). Please note that dogs aren't permitted inside buildings.

Line up along Savannah's riverfront to watch over 40 boats decorated in holiday cheer parade down the Savannah River! The parade will be led by the Georgia Queen Riverboat and begin at the Eastern Wharf Dock at the Thompson Savannah Hotel. After passing the panel of judges at the Eastern Wharf Park, the Captains will continue down the river past River Street and Plant Riverside District, ending back at the Eastern Wharf Dock.

A beachside fundraising plunge supporting sea turtle rehabilitation at the Georgia Sea Turtle Center. Participants enter the chilly Atlantic to raise funds for sea turtle rescue and recovery. Dogs are welcome as spectators.

The highlight of Savannah’s Waterfront Christmas on the River is the lighted holiday parade! It will start at the Plant Riverside District on the west end of River Street, head to the east end, and then through downtown. The parade features community floats, cars, trolleys, walking groups and more!

Take a stroll with Fido along River Street and enjoy holiday tunes and performances, shop for unique gifts at the pet-friendly merchants, and enjoy the Annual Lighted Christmas Street Parade on Saturday evening!
