Dog Events in Chehalis, WA

This annual event features a pet parade, costume contest, and photo booth featuring the Great Pumpkin. Registration opens at 1:00 PM, with the parade and judging beginning at 1:30 PM, awarding prizes in Spookiest, Funniest, Most Creative, Best Group, and Best in Show categories. Guests are encouraged to bring pet food donations for the Ballard Food Bank.

Well-mannered small dogs are invited to join a Halloween-themed yoga class! There'll also be adoptable dogs on site. Please remember to bring your own yoga mat and register in advance to attend.

East Vancouver's daycare, grooming, and dog training business is celebrating its tenth anniversary! There'll be a variety of activities, including games, raffles, vendors and a costume contest. Be sure to dress both you and your dog in themed outfits—extra points if you match in a surfer theme!

Check in at the front counter to receive your scavenger list for Fido. There'll be stations marked with balloons containing treats inside. At the end, you can redeem your reward, with bonus points for furry friends in Halloween costumes.

This dog-friendly Halloween celebration features costume contests with prizes for Cutest, Spookiest, Handcrafted & Homemade, and Duo or Dog/Owner categories. Small dogs under 30 pounds can attend starting at 10 AM, with the event opening to all dogs at 11 AM. Events are first-come, first-served with no ticket pre-sale.

Bring Fido to experience new smells and make once-in-a-lifetime memories together in the pumpkin patch! This will be the only day dogs will be allowed at the farm. All dogs must be leashed and friendly. Please note pups aren't allowed near the animal barns, the jump pad barn, or gift shop or any other buildings.

Pets of all types are welcome to participate in the parade. Please note that they must be either held or on a leash.

Bring Fido to this fun 5K! Your leashed dog is welcome to join you on a walk or run that starts at the tap house. Once you complete the course, you'll be able to celebrate with a free craft brew from Migration Brewing, your choice of a collector's pint glass or seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series, a chance to win door prizes, access to event festivities and more!

Bring Fido for a scenic train ride along the Tillamook Coast to enjoy fall’s vibrant colors. Dogs are welcome in the open-air cars. This fall train excursion offers panoramic views of forests, the Nehalem Bay coastline and the Coast Range mountains. Passengers can learn about the history of the railroad and surrounding natural areas from onboard docents before enjoying a 45-minute layover in Wheeler to explore local shops and food options. Trips depart at 2 PM on Fridays, and at 11 AM and 2 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

Leashed dogs are welcome to join their humans at this running event for all abilities! Register in advance to participate in the 5K, 10K or 15K. Bring any food items you wish to donate to the University Food Bank. Dogs need to start at the back of the race, distanced a little from the crowd. Please keep Fido on a short leash and keep a passing lane open on your left-hand side at all times.

Dogs are allowed aboard the Candy Cane Express in the outdoor covered car! Offered by the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad, this festive, 1-hour train ride runs from Garibaldi to Rockaway Beach and back, and features holiday decorations, complimentary hot cocoa, cookies, and a visit from Santa. Bring Fido for a picture with Santa! There will be both digital and print photo options. There will be a limited selection of free squeaky toys for early attendees, along with some dog sweaters and dog jackets!

On Monday and Tuesday night only (November 30th and December 1st), walk Fido along to the largest light show in the northwest spanning the track at Portland International Raceway. You'll see over one million LED builds and hundreds of light displays (many of them animated). Dogs must be leashed and festive attire is encouraged! Driving isn't permitted on the track during these nights, but if you'd like to drive through the display with Fido another evening, check out the Winter Wonderland event HERE.

This monthly Leonberger meetup invites Leonberger owners and their pups. The group meets at the main dog‑park entry (near Parking Lot D) and the walk is organized by the Leonberger Club of the Northwest.

Fido will love spending time with his furry friends at this monthly event at the distillery. Guests will receive cocktail specials, complimentary pup cups, dog treats, and doggie bandanas.
