On one select weekend each month, treat yourself and your pup to a leisurely day among the vines. Guests can unwind with a glass in hand while dogs explore open-air spaces, strike a pose at cute photo spots, and enjoy a little extra attention along the way.

This dog-friendly 5K fundraiser welcomes friendly, people-loving pups to join their owners for a fall run or walk. Proceeds benefit the Lantz Tucker Memorial Fund, which provides urgent, lifesaving veterinary care for pets whose families need financial assistance. Dogs can be registered separately and receive a doggie T-shirt.

This free, two-day arts and crafts fair brings exceptional regional artists to a lively downtown setting in October. Enjoy fine art, live entertainment, local food and drink, curated shopping, and family-friendly activities. Pets are welcome but must be leashed and under control—please use your best judgment in crowds and bring waste bags to clean up after them.

Dog lovers and beverage enthusiasts, rejoice! Dogs are welcome every weekend at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival, but this themed weekend is just for them! There will be fun dog contests and races. Guests can enjoy German-inspired food, drinks, entertainment, and dress in their best lederhosen or dirndl. In order to bring your dog to the Festival, you must fill out a registration form including your dog’s vaccination records and a photo of your dog. You can purchase your dog’s ticket at the Will Call window at the Festival.

Before arriving, submit the dog registration form and bring copies with you to the event. Please note that pets must be at least 6 months old and only one pet is allowed per handler.
