Leashed dogs are welcome at this family-friendly event that closes Douglas Avenue to vehicle traffic, creating a car‑free space for biking, walking, running, skating and more. The Douglas hub is part of the route that also includes Naftzger Park and East High, with food, activities, and entertainment along four big hubs.

A waiver stating that your pet is up to date on vaccinations is required, which you can fill out beforehand or upon arrival. 2026 Bark at the Park is scheduled for April 1, May 6 and September 23.

Pets must be at least 6 months old to attend and must be on a non-retractable maximum 6' leash or inside a carrier. There's a limit of one pet per adult.

This Arthritis Foundation’s race is the original festive race for charity with your pup. It’s where you can strut your stuff in your favorite holiday costume. Bring a team of friends, family, and co-workers to run or walk. Please ensure your pup is kept on a leash. Check-in starts at 7:30 AM and the race begins at 9:00 AM.
