End the summer with a splash! Bring Fido to this annual event where your pup will have a waggin' good time. Please bring a dog collar and leash to this event.

Bring Fido out to fall's fluffiest festival and KHS' largest annual fundraiser! Guests are invited to participate in the Woof Walk & Breakfast, listen to live music, and compete in stage contests. There will be a beer garden, vendor booths, food trucks, a doggy agility course, a photobooth, live demos from the WPD’s K-9 Unit and more. Woofstock is a rain or shine event!

ICT Dachshunds holds the annual Running of The Weens each year at the dog-friendly Wichita ICT Bloktoberfest!

Bring Fido to this dog-friendly block party filled with live music, food trucks, yard games, and unique contests such as the stein hoist, Dad Bod Contest, and the crowd favorite Running with the Weens Dachshund races. The event showcases local, regional, and German beers, transforming the park into a lively Biergarten atmosphere.

This fun celebration invites you and Fido to enjoy holiday snacks, cheerful mocktails, a pet and human costume contest, a silent auction, and festive booths with music and more.

All registered racing Wiener dogs are welcome the Sunday only of Oktoberfest to zip, zag, and run to the finish line! Your Dachshund will be given a numbered hot dog bun costume and run 150 feet from one end of the Dash to the other. Dogs will run in heats of five to six pups. Wieners (winners) receive prizes! Pre-registration is required.

On these select days, leashed pups are welcome to stroll, sniff, and explore the beautiful garden grounds alongside their humans. It's a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors together in a peaceful, scenic setting. Dogs must be on a non-retractable leash, with a limit of two dogs per household, and owners are expected to clean up after their pets.

Philbrook Museum of Art opens its gardens for leashed dogs to stroll, sniff, and relax with their owners during this program held the third Sunday of each month! Enjoy a full day in the gardens, bring a water bowl, and follow simple rules that keep the experience safe, clean, and welcoming for everyone.

Gathering Place’s Dog Play Days welcome leashed dogs on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays only, so owners can walk and socialize their pets on permitted pathways and grassy areas. Dogs are permitted daily on Tuckabache Trail (formerly Midland Valley Trail) and RiverParks Trail. Please note that pups aren't permitted in buildings, play areas, water features and landscaped areas.
