​It’s all about good vibes, sunset views of the NYC skyline, and meeting your neighbors. Whether you have a four-legged bestie or just want to enjoy the fresh air, come hang out! All dogs must be on a 6' max, non-retractable leash and be current on vaccinations. ​Walk-ins are welcome—no RSVP needed!

Explore the history of Rockwood Hall with docent David Teich and your furry companion on a scenic 2-mile hike overlooking the Hudson. Discover the site’s rich past, lush forests and remnants of 19th-century luxuries. Make sure to wear layers and bring enough water for you and Fido. This hike is at Rockwood Hall; don't go to the main entrance. The parking lot is on Kendal Way off Route 117, just after the intersection of Phelps and Regeneron. If the lot is full, you may park in the Phelps garage. Please register in advance as the hike is limited to 40 people.

This pet-friendly adoption and fundraiser brings together multiple animal rescues with adoptable dogs and cats, giving guests an opportunity to meet pets looking for forever homes. Attendees can also enjoy a pet blessing, veterinary giveaways, a 50/50 raffle and basket raffle. A portion of proceeds from Tito’s Handmade Vodka drinks sold at the bar will benefit participating rescues.

This free, dog-friendly community event features activities and demonstrations, rescue and adoption organizations, pet vendors, dog photo opportunities, food and drinks, and waterfront fun.

Leashed dogs are welcome at this annual event featuring rescue organizations, craft vendors, pet blessings and more. There will be music, food vendors and a Pet Parade (costume optional) at 2:30 PM with prizes in several categories. All are welcome, with or without a pet. The event will take place rain or shine.

This dog-friendly community event brings together pet lovers for a day of fun, education and animal advocacy. Highlights include pet contests, demonstrations from the Sheriff’s K-9 Unit and Mounted Patrol, adoptable pets from local rescues, pet-focused vendors, live entertainment, food trucks, a beer garden and family-friendly activities. Funds raised support local animal advocacy initiatives, including the Sheriff’s K-9 and Mounted Patrol Units.

Bring Fido out to this annual parade dressed in his favorite costume! In addition to a contest, there'll be local vendors, raffles, a kids' activity area and much more. The rain date is October 18.

This community event will take over an entire block of Hell’s Kitchen! Activities will include pet adoptions, dog portraits, food and drink, local vendors and small businesses. Vendors will line the closed-off street for an expected 5,000+ attendees to celebrate all things ‘dog’ in New York City!

Bring Fido to this Halloween-themed gathering of costumed canines and their owners! Watch adorable pups strut their stuff in creative and charming outfits for a chance to win fantastic prizes for the most creative costumes. Note that this event is only open to Fair Lawn residents.

Join the Van Cortlandt Park Alliance, Van Cortlandt House Museum, and the Urban Park Rangers for a free afternoon of family and dog-friendly fun! Enjoy creepy crafts, face painting, and spine-tingling stories with LINC on the museum lawn. At 3:00 PM, don’t miss the Annual Pup Parade & Canine Costume Contest. Pups can be registered from 2:00–2:45 PM or pre-register online. Cap off the evening with a Nocturnal Creatures and Wildlife Hike led by the Urban Park Rangers from 6:00–7:30 PM.

The Arthritis Foundation’s race is the original festive race for charity with your pup. It’s where you can strut your stuff in your favorite holiday costume. Bring a team of friends, family, and co-workers to run or walk. Please ensure your dog is kept on a leash. Check-in starts at 9 AM and the race begins at 10:30 AM.
