Dog Events in Ridgecrest, CA

Dress your furry friends in their favorite costumes for a chance to win prizes for Cutest, Most Creative, and Best Dog/Human Combo. Enjoy games, vendors, raffles and more! The first 50 registered dogs will receive free goody bags.

Dress in your best costume and trick-or-treat your way up and down the boooulevard. There's also a chance for your furry friend to win best dressed. A free carnival is also on at the Chapel City Church to check out.

This community Thanksgiving run features a 5K run/walk for participants and leashed pups, and a 1K run for kids. All participants receive a participation medal, while top finishers can earn additional prizes and medals. Proceeds benefit the Upland High School Boys and Girls Cross Country Team.

Participants can enjoy a fulfilling experience by joining a one-mile walk to support shelter animals. Your pup must be friendly with people and other dogs. Please bring proof of vaccinations (rabies, combination shot, and Bordetella) on your phone or as a hard copy.

Join this weekly LGBTQ+-friendly dog park meetup for a morning of off-leash play and community connection. Dog owners, trainers, walkers, allies, and their pups are invited to gather in the all-breed section to socialize, meet new friends, and enjoy time outdoors together. All dog sizes are welcome. Look for Arkaz, a short bearded man with glasses and dark curly hair, with Buggy, his black Cocker-Pug in a trans pride bandana!
