Only Dachshunds participating in the Wiener Takes All race can attend the event. A rabies vaccination certificate is required to participate. Held every weekend throughout the month of October, the Hermann Oktoberfest is an annual, dog-friendly event celebrating the town’s German heritage and the autumn season. The activities are spaced out around the German town. Enjoy German food (schnitzel, bratwurst, sauerkraut or pretzels) and a glass of wine, beer, or spirits.

Enjoy the beautiful outdoor scenery of the Illinois Valley and your favorite August Hill & ISC wines while hanging out on our spacious hillside. Wine flights, wine by the bottle and a snack picnic box will all be available.
