Dog Events in Seeley, CA

Once a month, the Wild Hare Bar Garden hosts a fun themed Yappy Hour event for pets and their people! Guests will find fun surprises each month like photo booths, complimentary treats and a dog menu, drink specials, happy hour bites, giveaways, music, and more. Guests are encouraged to dress their pups and themselves in the month's special theme. Make a night of it and book a dog-friendly room on site at the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter!

This dog-friendly mutt contest invites mixed-breed dogs to compete in five weight categories, from extra-small to extra-large. Winners in each category will advance to compete for Best in Show, with trophies and prizes awarded to the category winners and overall champion.

Bring Fido along to this annual fundraiser! Starting at the Vermont Street Bridge in Hillcrest, participants will cross seven unique bridges, each with its own history and charm. Along the route, enjoy views of Balboa Park, the Rose Garden, and lively local districts. Registered participants can also listen to Jeffery the Surfer Caredeer’s audio tour, sharing fun facts and history as you cross each bridge. The hike ends with a celebratory pizza party at Tavola Nostra Pizzeria & Cucina.

Bring Fido along for a weekend of admiring amazing glass art created by local artists. There will be entertainment for all ages, including demonstrations featuring torch-work and glass cutting, as well as an area for children & adults alike to create their own unique mosaic art piece to take home. Pets must be on a leash at this event.

Bring your pup out to this fun event featuring 30+ vendors, a poodle parade, contests, demonstrations, a portrait opportunity, games with Poodles (and Poodle mixes), and more!

Pups and their people are invited to hit the course together, then stick around for a festive morning filled with a dog activities, a beer garden, and plenty of prizes. After the race, don’t miss the adoption event, where you just might meet your new best friend!

Guests and their four-legged friends are invited to lounge on the rooftop patio at the Margaritaville Hotel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter during this monthly event! Fido can enjoy a bite from a special dog menu while humans take in the view, sip on delicious drinks and socialize with friends.

Participants can enjoy a fulfilling experience by joining a one-mile walk to support shelter animals. Your pup must be friendly with people and other dogs. Please bring proof of vaccinations (rabies, combination shot, and Bordetella) on your phone or as a hard copy.
