Dog Events in Spring Run, PA

Step back in time at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire, where costumed performers, jousting, live entertainment, artisan merchants, themed food and drinks, and interactive experiences bring the 16th century to life. Friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome to join the festivities through the Faire's Dog Friendly Faire program. Dogs must be pre-approved, have a date-specific Royal Hound Ticket, and follow all event pet policies.

Come dressed in your best Pups & Pals costumes to the B&O for the biggest puppy playdate of the year! Enjoy an afternoon of amazing vendors and activities under the pavilion, a train excursion to Carroll Park, a costume contest, and a “Yappy Hour” for adults. BARCS and the Maryland SPCA will also be on site. Owners must pre-register their dogs with proof of a rabies vaccine and sign a hold harmless waiver.

The Homestead Gardens Critter Crawl is a Halloween pet costume contest held during the annual Fall Festival. Dress up your pet and join the festivities while supporting the SPCA of Anne Arundel County.

Dress up your furry friend for the costumed pet parade. Judges will be awarding prizes for creativity and charm, plus there will be door prizes and contest awards. Enjoy a scenic walk in the park with your pet, tour the historic house and blooming gardens, and discover the local wildlife that calls Hancock’s Resolution home.

This annual pet costume party and a pet parade is a community favorite! They'll be collecting donations in exchange for participation of gently used dog and cat toys, blankets, cat litter, pet food, and other pet supplies. A meet and greet will be held from 1 PM until 1:30 PM, and the parade and pet trick or treating starts at 1:30 PM.

This guided wine hike invites guests 21+ and their leashed dogs to explore scenic vineyard trails while enjoying curated wine tastings at stops throughout the property. The hike is moderate+ and takes approximately one hour. Hiking or tennis shoes are required. Please bring water along for you and your pup.

On Wednesdays, during regular daytime hours, leashed dogs are welcome in the gardens (only service dogs are permitted on other days). Each adult may bring one dog. All attendees must sign an Assumption of Risk and Rules of Participation form before entering. Dogs must be leashed at all times with a non-retractable leash no longer than 6 feet. Loaner leashes are available at the Admissions Desk, and adult handlers are responsible for keeping dogs under control and out of landscape beds.

Spend a relaxing afternoon with your dog during this weekly pet-friendly yappy hour on the winery's outdoor deck. Guests can enjoy wine while soaking up the sunshine, and there will be special dog wine and biscuits for sale. Pets are permitted on the outdoor deck only, and must be leashed at all times.

Get ready for a spooktacular evening where pups and their people can strut their stuff in the costume contest, with prizes like overnight stays, dinners, and more awarded at 7:00 PM by local celebrity judges in categories such as most creative, most adorable, funniest, and honorable mentions. Furry friends will enjoy treats, while humans sip on festive Halloween-themed cocktails and treat their pups to special Puptails. Bring Fido for some fun indoor exercise with other pups. No reservations required, just drop in with your canine pal. Staff members will be on hand to show you how to use the agility and exercise equipment.

This dog-friendly farm event features Halloween trick-or-treating for pups, a chance to learn training tips from a local dog training club, and opportunities to support the Morgan Chapel Pet Food Pantry through donations. Guests can dress their dogs in costume, enjoy a day on the farm, and grab a bite from the on-site food truck. All pets must remain leashed, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them.

Hang out with Fido weekends in October at this popular fall festival! Indulge in food and drink, watch live entertainment, enjoy a ride, or play your favorite game. This event is perfect for the whole family! Be sure to keep your pup leashed at all times and don't forget water and waste bags. Fido is welcome on select rides when operating, like the antique cars and train!

Bring your pups for a day of adventure at this annual event! Dogs and their owners can roam through an exciting corn maze before competing in the dog costume contest, featuring eight categories and the chance to win awesome prizes. Pre-registration opens at 11 AM and is required for contestants. The contest begins at 12 PM.

All pets are welcome for Halloween photos with a professional photographer ($5 for prints and $10 for digital photos). No appointment needed. Photos will be available from 10 AM until 1 PM, and again from 1:30 PM until 4 PM. Stick around for the costume contest and parade at 4:30 PM. Food trucks will be on site.

Leashed dogs are welcome at this monthly outdoor arts market that closes West Street and Calvert Street in downtown Annapolis for local artists, live music, food, and vendors. The festival runs May through November.

Bushtail’s Brand 13 BBQ will be on-site, wood-smoking delicious food while guests enjoy a door prize drawing and vendors, including nonprofits, nature- and pet-themed groups, snack food businesses, and home-related vendors. The event will be held rain or shine.
