Participants will walk, jog or run along the scenic, hilly course that winds through the 230-acre property, offering glimpses of retired research chimpanzees in their forested habitats. This event provides a rare opportunity to visit the sanctuary, which is not typically open to the public, while supporting the care of over 80 rescued chimps. Along the way, attendees can enjoy interactive educational stations, learn about chimp conservation, and take part in fun, family-friendly activities. The race is designed to be inclusive for all fitness levels, with no pressure to complete it within a set time.
