Dog Events in Wamego, KS

This dog-friendly Halloween event features Dachshund races, a dog costume contest, craft vendors, boutiques, and more. Hosted by Randi’s Rockin Dachshund Rescue, the annual fundraiser celebrates the beloved breed while supporting the rescue’s work.

On one select weekend each month, treat yourself and your pup to a leisurely day among the vines. Guests can unwind with a glass in hand while dogs explore open-air spaces, strike a pose at cute photo spots, and enjoy a little extra attention along the way.

Helping Hands Humane Society hosts an annual Santa Paws fundraiser benefiting the animals in its care. The event features holiday photos with Santa or a winter backdrop, nail trims by a volunteer groomer, a Howliday Bazaar with local vendors selling pet treats, toys, and gifts, and a bake sale supporting the shelter. Pets are welcome, and pre-registration is encouraged for photos and nail trims.
