Dog Events Near Camelback Shadows, Phoenix, AZ, US

Celebrate what makes Arizona special at this ultimate gathering of locals and businesses from across the valley, making it the largest certified local event around. Bring Fido along to this vibrant celebration featuring over 200 vendors!

Small dogs under 25 lbs are welcome to join their owners at this annual event to get a slice of pie! This annual festival celebrates local pizza makers with a variety of pizza slices, full pies, Italian-inspired foods and desserts. Guests can also enjoy local beer, wine, live music, a vendor market and a kids’ zone.

On select Wednesday evenings, enjoy an evening excursion with your pup, admiring plants and exploring trails. Dogs must be leashed, licensed, up-to-date on vaccinations and cleaned up after. Water fountains and refill stations are located throughout the garden for your convenience, and pet strollers are welcome. Please note that dogs aren't permitted at Gertrude’s, The RAF Gallery, Butterfly Pavilion or Cactus Clubhouse. Dogs are only allowed at Desert Botanical Garden during special Dog Days events.

On select Saturdays, enjoy a morning excursion with your furry best friend, admiring the plants and exploring the trails. This dog-friendly Turkey Trot invites participants of all ages to enjoy a scenic 4K walk or run through the Biltmore Estates. Leashed dogs can join their owners on the course, while participants receive light refreshments, a commemorative T-shirt and race bib. Proceeds from ticket sales support Paws for Youth and its animal-assisted therapy programs for at-risk youth.

On select Mondays, bring your pup to strike an adorable pose with Santa Claus! A visit with Santa is always free and photo packages are available for purchase. Reservations are highly recommended.

Leashed, well-behaved dogs can explore vendors selling items like vintage décor, art, media, reworked fashion, handmade goods, curated gift bundles and tasty eats.
