Dog Events Near Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base, CA, US

Justin Rudd and his Community Action Team host one of the biggest Halloween pet events in the world! The parade is expected to include a few hundred kids and adults in costumes, followed by more than 450 costumed dogs with handlers. A few thousand human gawkers will line the parade route, including a panel of distinguished judges that will choose a few dozen human and canine costume winners. Haute Dogs will raise thousands for spay/neuter programs, adoption/rescue groups, Operation Santa Paws and other Long Beach service projects.

Bring your own trick-or-treat bag to collect treats from their festive trunks while creating unforgettable memories with your furry friend! Don’t miss the costume contests; there’s even an award for pets.

This pet-friendly festival is perfect for a fun afternoon with your four-legged friend! Nestled along the scenic waterfront of Marine Stadium, this show is the largest and longest-running event in the series, featuring a vibrant mix of local makers, junior artists, live music, artisan food vendors, food trucks, and hands-on DIY crafting activities.

These monthly Dachshund races allow dog owners lure their short-legged but swift dogs to the finish line with toys, treats, friends or enemies. Every Wiener is a winner because each dog gets a prize even if they don't run! Limited spectator tickets are available on race day at the Wienerdog store. All event attendees are required to park ONLY in the free parking structure adjacent to Old World Village, located behind Hotel Huntington Beach, off of Huntington Village Lane.

On select Mondays, bring your furry friend, big or small, and watch him strike adorable poses with Santa. This heartwarming event is the perfect opportunity to create lasting memories and share the holiday spirit with your four-legged family members.
