The dog swim event is scheduled in two sessions: 4:00–5:25 PM for small dogs (30 lbs or less), and 5:35–7:00 PM for all dogs with no size or weight restrictions. Kansas City Renaissance Festival Barktoberfest Dog lovers and beverage enthusiasts, rejoice! Dogs are welcome every weekend at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival, but this themed weekend is just for them! There will be fun dog contests and races. Guests can enjoy German-inspired food, drinks, entertainment, and dress in their best lederhosen or dirndl. In order to bring your dog to the Festival, you must fill out a registration form including your dog’s vaccination records and a photo of your dog.
