Ludington’s Freedom Festival Children & Pet Parade Kick off the Jaycees' Freedom Festival with the beloved Children & Pets Parade! The parade will begin promptly at 7 PM, at Ferry and Loomis Street and ends at the Waterfront Park Bandshell. Open to kids and pets of all ages, participants can walk the route and show off their patriotic spirit. Oaklawn Pet, Bike and Wagon Parade Celebrate Independence Day with your leashed furry friend by participating in this annual event. Children can participate by showing their creativity by designing costumes and decorations per the theme. Outstanding performers will be honored with first, second, and third place in three categories: pets, bikes, and wagons. All animals must be leashed or caged. There's no fee to participate in the parade, but registration is required. Late registration will be available in person the day of the parade from 9:00-9:30 AM in front of the Crary Condos. Cadillac Michigan Freedom Festival Kid & Pet Parade Bring Fido to this fun-filled, family-friendly Pet Parade along beautiful Lake Cadillac, as part of the Cadillac Michigan Freedom Festival weekend! Line-up begins at 11:30 AM, with the parade kicking off at 1:00 PM from City Park, following the scenic sidewalk to Chestnut and finishing at the skate park parking lot.
