No microwave, can’t turn the fan off on the PTAC unit and the breakfast was extremely basic - cold cereal, bagels and apples.

We stayed one night (3 humans and 2 small dogs). Room was clean and odor free. Heater was on when we arrived which was nice since we just came from a day of snowboarding. Great location (close to state line and across from heavenly). Morning breakfast set up really accommodates those of us headed back to the slopes with the standard quick breakfast items but also snacks for later (trail mix, fig bars, etc). Staff were very kind. Parking is a bit of s challenge but they have additional parking in the back. We plan to stay here on future Tahoe trips.

We got a really good rate for a last minute trip. You definitely get what you pay for. The rooms look nicer in the pictures online than they do in person. Very outdated, noisy flooring, and dirty carpets. The rooms aren’t very sound proof. You can hear every time someone closes a door on another floor or next door. My pup is a light sleeper and wakes up with the slightest unknown sound when he’s in a new environment and all the different sounds were keeping him up. The location is very central and convenient but the rooms definitely need extensive renovations.

Dogs were welcome in the lobby, the room, and the outdoor courtyard. Also, the BBQ restaurant next to the hotel is dog-friendly. The nearest beaches that were public and accepted dogs were a few miles away, but the Bi-State Park was within walking distance, and a great place to hike with the dog.

Hotel's plus - VERY dog friendly, no question about that.
Hotel's minuses - 1) VERY noisy, we checked in on a Saturday night and ALL night there were people coming in and out of the building, slamming doors each time. 2) rooms look much nicer online than the actually are. I chose the Tahoe Blue building thinking they were a bit nice but the room was just tired, plus booking for 3 adults and a dog, the room had just one very small table (2x2) and only two chairs. No real closet, just a small standing armoire. TV was big but the plugs were a bit outdated and it kept unplugging. - WendyJan 22, 2021Lipstick on a pig
An old run down hotel with a hip/ fashionable effort of a top layer. Our room was dirty- someone’s hat left in room and m&ms, bottle cap on the floor. Shower really low water pressure, drapes and carpet in room old. Fine for our purposes but not great.

Stayed for a wknd in July. Great location, literally across the street from Heavenly. Room looked renovated. Clean. The room was not serviced during out stay, but I think that is standard practice now many places due to COVID-19. The outdoor areas got gross over the wknd. Since the hotel is on the corner of a busy intersection, the outdoor trashcans were always overflowing. No real grass or dirt or convenient pet relief area on the grounds.

Dog welcomed in hotel and on patio of adjacent restaurant, Two Crows. The hotel itself needed some updating and the patio we had wasn’t cleaned. Good location to walk dog though.
