  This hotel is fantastic! The staff is very friendly, the dog rooms have pergo-like flooring, rooms are large, and the outdoor space for the dog to walk and run are on all sides of the hotel. Great grassy areas! The food nearby is also great. I had a burger from Jacks Chophouse and it was fantastic!

  Our room was very roomy and clean. A great variety of food items to choose from for breakfast. The most memorable was the gourmet coffee maker in the lobby which delivered many flavors of delicious coffee and hot chocolate.

  Really great hotel for two humans and two dogs. Wonderful spacious suite, we were on the first floor near the lobby. Seriously, everything was easy. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly, breakfast was good.

  Pet-friendly rooms are supposed to be on first and second floors. They put us on the third floor as far away from the elevator as you could get. The “dog area” Is across a street a good distance from the hotel. Not sure we will go back.

  Wonderful Hotel!

  You must stay here! Large 2-room suite with comfortable beds, kitchenette with table and chairs, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. Also nice area to walk your dog, great breakfast, and lovely staff. Guarantee we’ll be staying here again when we’re in the area.

  First time staying at this location and it was exceptional. The staff was very personable and helpful, my room was huge with a large kitchen, and they had a great grassy area for my two large boxers - large enough to toss a ball for them!! I didn’t try the breakfast but it looked good. Appreciated the 24-hour free gourmet coffee. The room and property were clean and well laid out.

  Fantastic stay!

  We were welcomed with our pups and there was a jar of milk bones in the lobby. The room was on the 1st floor and close to the exit door. The room was very clean and welcoming and had lots of room for our doodles. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend for pets!

  Great hotel for dogs

  This is one of the few places we were able to find that accepted big dogs without a weight restriction. The room was big with plenty of space for my girls to spread out. The front desk made sure we had everything we needed for them and have a milk bone cookie jar for their fury customers. The hotel is set back away from the main road a bit so it is quiet and lots of grass areas for my girls to walk.

  Super welcoming for our pup

  We drove from Iowa to Florida and stayed two nights along the way. The second was in the Best Western Plus Valdosta and we had an amazingly large room with plenty of space to play with our pup after being cooped up in a car all day. We even played fetch down the long hallway to get her tired out. Highly recommend this hotel just off the interstate.

  Best Westerns aren’t always the best, but since this one had received 5 ‘bones’ we thought we’d try it. Very nice, staff polite and friendly, room clean and spacious for our 2 goldens! Breakfast included was a bonus. I’ll be adding this place to my list of places to stay, with or without pups!

  Our stay at this Best Western Plus was everything I would expect from a mid-priced hotel, and more. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The room was clean, quiet, and there were no maintenance issues. The breakfast area was very clean and kept neat during the breakfast period, and the food was good. That is all I can ask for. I will stay there again if my travels bring me to Valdosta.

  Room was big enough for both of my dogs (60lb and 75lb). We paid extra for the bigger size room with kitchen. Across the hotel there is a real big area for them to run and potty. Employees were super nice and pleasant.

  The green areas were close to the hotel doors, the rooms were clean, large, and dog friendly. The rooms designated for dogs are on the first floor. This is a very dog friendly hotel.

  This hotel was absolutely accommodating & pleasant. The staff was quick, professional, and kind. The room was great — it had a room for the beds & bathroom and another room for kitchenette with table & a small living room. There was ample land outside to run the dogs and they had dog bones sitting out on a table by the check-in desk. I would actively look to stay in this hotel chain again.

  Deesyl & Chumlee (my 2 labs) give their stay 5 bones! They were appreciative having a first floor room close to exit for their potty breaks! They enjoyed having the vast area outside to explore! And they appreciated NOT having carpet in their room! Very clean & cool to lay on! The hotel staff was very friendly & helpful! Deesyl & Chumlee's humans enjoyed their stay, too! Very clean & spacious room! And the breakfast bar was delicious! No anxiety or stress picking this hotel!

  The rooms are hot with no temperature regulation. Minimal furniture. Looking at the room you ask: ”What was here before that is missing now?” Great with dogs, have treats in the lobby and a great field for walking in front of the hotel. Unfortunately, for people, not so good. Not sure they clean everything as my dogs were very busy sniffing behind the chairs.

  Best Western Plus in Valdosta was the absolute nicest place we have stayed in other than a high star hotel. OMG sooo clean, sooo friendly and accommodating. I have to say that you won’t get a more complete, better tasting breakfast anywhere else. No one is paying me to state all this, I just must spew on how great this hotel is. Don't forget the pool and jacuzzi! Best place ever!

  AMAZING STAY

  Would HIGHLY recommend! My sweet furry companions and I stayed here for an overnight stay, and by far it was one of the cleanest, most comfortable rooms I’ve stayed in traveling with or without pets. Parking is easy and there’s food anywhere within 5 minutes. Affordable too! Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Definitely keeping this one tabbed for future stays.

  The room was extremely clean. There was no dog poo on the property, which is very much appreciated. Clean dogs won't poo where there are heaps of poo. Our dog is a large standard lab; he was very comfortable and so were we. We will be back.

  We return here whenever we are in the area. The designated pet area is a large, unfenced space in front of the hotel. It is bordered on two sides by busy streets so I stay leashed while exercising. The other sides are hotel driveways so humans can keep their feet off the grass if desired. A biscuit is usually available at the front desk if I need a snack. Mom says they have the best beds, pillows and breakfast. Too bad she won’t share.

  Great place for dogs, and people. They do charge a pet fee. The bed was a bit firm and awoke with a back ache. But have stayed here many times. First time bed was too firm.

  My dogs and I evacuated from Fl secondary to Hurricane Dorian. I made reservations at La Quinta Inn and Suites on BringFido since the hotel had great reviews. The hotel was perfect for myself and my pets. The Staff welcomed my Dogs and I And were quite friendly. Our room was great, very clean and comfortable. The dog walking area was clean and safe. The indoor pool & exercise equipment were a wonderful surprise. The bed was really comfortable. I would stay at this establishment again. I highly recommend it.

  Clean, Spacious & Safe. I’m wrapping up a round trip from Florida to British Columbia and back... traveling on my own with 3 (yes THREE ) Airedale Terriers. During this marathon trip I have stayed at Best Western Inns and La Quintas. There are only two hotels I have stayed in that I would give “ five bones “ to. And this is one of the two! From the moment one arrives you feel like you have arrived in The South. Southern class and hospitality. The front desk staff is fantastic. The foyer and breakfast area luxurious, clean, large and spacious. I have a large ground floor suite with a kitchen near an exit door. NOTE: The modest upgrade is a good idea because the dogs have room to move around. The property is a landscaped beautifully. Around the outer edge there is an extremely large area to exercise ones dogs. And if you do have time for yourself there is a lovely outdoor swimming pool. I cannot say enough nice things about this Best Western Plus!
  Please NOTE everyone! Pick up your dog Poop. I keep picking up everyone else’s as well as mine. SERIOUSLY people finding a lovely place to stay with ones dogs is a gift ...don’t ruin it.
