We had a first floor room at the end of the hall with a side door that opened onto the grassy dog area, with poop bag/trash station.

The grass areas for the dogs are very small, firm bed & hard pillows and prefer not to have carpet in a pet- friendly room because of the odor the minute you walk in. Upon arrival, no one was at the front desk, after waiting quite awhile. My husband had to call the hotel while standing inside to finally get someone to show up & we weren't the only ones waiting.

The room smelled like wet dog! And I requested “handicap accessible,” which I thought meant a walk-in shower at least. The only handicap assistance were a railing near the bathtub. And the tub had some type of permanent stain in the bottom that looked like rust or throw up. The staff tried to be helpful, so I give them credit for that. I would not stay at this place again. La Quinta now charges extra for dogs, but the rooms that dog owners are given are substandard.

This was an excellent stay. The front desk gentleman was very helpful and the room was nice and clean. Highly recommended and just off the freeway a couple of miles.

The hotel was a easy in and out on our long driving trip. The room was a bit ragged, but wasn’t quite sure what to expect. It was clean and odorless so it worked well for us.

Very sweet man at the front desk. Gave our Bichon the royal treatment. Clean and pretty hotel in a good location . Especially during these difficult times.

The motel was nice and clean. But when we got there I was told they had no room for a dog on the first floor. When I made my reservation through Bringfido.com I had asked for 1st floor due to our dog is large and terrified of elevators. The clerk said sorry since I made reservations with a other party there was nothing they could do. I refused to take no for an answer and had him call an supervisor, we did get the only other room on the first floor which was a king size bed and we had asked for doubles. Every time we went out to walk the dog there were people outside which at night was a little scary. There is no special area for the dogs to go to. Probably will not go back to this place.

Have always regarded La Quinta as a first choice when traveling with our 2 dogs. Not every La Quinta is created equal, though this one was a really nice one, with a restaurant within a stone's throw. We would return when back in the area.
