    Nonstop noise

Very dated rooms. Bugs in bathroom. Would not stay there again.

    Great pet-friendly hotel

Nice rooms with mini fridge, good shower, and hard floors. Pet rooms are located on the ground floor with easy access to the pet relief area. Plus there’s a trail around the lake just across the parking lot. Our pet was provided bowls and a tennis ball.

    Very nice venue

Although the buildings (casino and hotel are separate) are dated, the interiors are remarkably up to date. Everything is clean and new. They bring the dog bowls and a mat and a tennis ball when you arrive. You can walk your dog out by the lake in back. The restaurants are updated as is the entire casino. Pleasantly surprised.

    Treats us pets nice

Gave food & water bowls on a placemat (tell your humans don't take them or they will be charged $25 a piece)! Nice thing the hotel also did was give me a complimentary tennis ball to play with and keep. Beds are comfy for my humans and shower was nice too! Restaurants inside Casino are 😋 . I got some of my "Mommys " Prime Rib

    Fun time

The place has dedicated dog rooms, a lake to walk around, gambling, and restaurants. Check-in was easy and they make it easy to have a dog room. Clean and easy parking.

    Really Nice Motel

Really nice room, friendly staff, good amenities, including puppy water dishes in the room. My only complaint was that the front desk gave me erroneous information concerning Nevada law regarding dogs. I was told that it was absolutely prohibited to leave a dog in a car unattended. I was also told that I couldn’t leave my dog in my room, in addition dogs weren’t allowed in the casino or restaurant and there was no room service. So … ????

Can’t shop for necessities or groceries, can’t go to to a restaurant? Talk about your catch 22! I have to admit that the desk person did revise the hotel rule information — I could leave my dog in my room for a short period of time, like 15 or 20 minutes, as long as he didn’t bother anybody. Well, how much can I possibly get done in 15-20 minutes??? My first impression was that Nevada was even worse than California when it comes to idiotic laws.

Web research, however, showed that the Nevada law prohibits leaving dogs in cars during hazardous conditions, so that’s pretty sensible. But hotel staff shouldn’t give out erroneous information concerning legal restrictions, etc. Now I can enjoy the rest of my trip without having to leave my dog leashed to the car door handle!

Great location awesome for my Carly

The hotel has one section and floor devoted to dogs and their owners. The room was very clean and comfortable. Dog bowls for food and water were on a cute placemat on the floor waiting, with a tennis ball for playtime. On property there is a dog relief area with bags and trash can. But even better was the marina across the parking lot with wide sidewalks and grassy areas. And squirrels and ducks for Carly’s entertainment. A very pleasant place to walk. We had a very nice stay and would definitely stay here again.

    A nice surprise

We didn't expect too much but were happily surprised with our stay. The room was recently renovated and very nice. It was clean and comfortable. Bowls were provided for our pups as well as a tennis ball to play with. The biggest surprise was the amazing lake front park and marina. We had a long walk after 10pm due to the heat and the park was still busy with families and young people. It was not sketchy at all like we expected. 10/10 would stay here again.

    Wonderful park!

City of Sparks built a great park with a lake and you can walk around it on a cement trail.

Great location close to off leash dog area

Perfect if you have an active dog like our Brittany. We could just walk to the dog park between the highway and the lake and let him run. Ideal for dogs who love water. Rooms are just fine. They placed us 1st floor at the section with the dog run.

    Great Location!

We stayed for 4 days and three nights. The facilities were clean and well kept. The room had a food bowl and water bowl on a placemat ready for our dog when we arrived. There’s a lake behind the building that was perfect for walks. There’s a huge dog park 5 miles away as well.

Pet Friendly with a Fee of $11.00 not including fees!

We enjoyed our stay and so did Max. The fee for the pet is $11.00 not including additional state taxes and fees per night. It ended up costing us slightly over $20 after all of the additional taxes were added! The rooms were clean and nice, They also included pet bowls to use and a tennis ball for Fido as a gift. There is a great boardwalk around a man-made lake, it has small beaches and a park along the lake, it was very nice. We had a good time! I would recommend it, even though the taxes and fees are ridiculously high.

    Did the trick!

I got a room on the 2nd floor just near the stairs that took me right down to the pet relief area… There weren’t any specific pet friendly items in the room, but it was nice to be able to bring my dog at all. This wasn’t my destination; it was a stop on a road trip… I didn’t even gamble, as that’s not my thing.

    Nice location

Sadly one persons dog barked for an hour at 3 am and the hotel couldn’t get ahold of them. I was glad they did ask for a cell number. The hotel handled it the best they could and were very nice and helpful as they could be.

    Noisy, but a great deal

Overall our stay at the Western Village Inn & Casino was a positive one. Check in was easy, plenty of parking close to the rooms, and very nice, clean rooms. We were placed in the dog area of the hotel. You’re asked to not leave your dog alone in the room, but obviously guests were, as we heard constant barking from other rooms until about 2am. I’d recommend bringing ear plugs just in case your room is near an irresponsible guest with a bad dog. The great price, easy access to casino and restaurants, nearby walking trail, and clean rooms make this a great option for folks traveling through. Would recommend, just be warned about the barking at night.

    Horrible bed

We had a room with 2 queen beds, absolutely most horrible beds I have ever slept on. Both were horrible, when you laid down the bed literally folded in half

Great night for the four legged and two legged

Wonderful place, comfortable stay with convenience to the highway in sparks. The staff was kind and helpful, they took care of everything painlessly and simply. The room was comfortable, they supplied a bowl and water for the dog making it comfortable for the dog to stay.

    Great location

Nice room that allowed our 2 dogs to stay with us. I believe the building we were in was designated for pets. We were right by a side entrance with a pet area for the dogs to do their business. Waste bags were provided also in the doggy area. There was a little lake and marina nearby that was really nice to walk around with the dogs. Check-in and check-out was very simple. I would stay here again.
