Description
Brunet Island State Park Campground is located on over 1200 acres. Water recreation abounds with the Chippewa and Fisher Rivers, and a boat launch is available for easy access. Guests can enjoy boating and fishing, as well as the campground's hiking and nature trails, playground, and picnic shelters. Flush restrooms and showers are also provided for your convenience.

The campsites are fairly large and most are on or quite close to the Chippewa River. Not much for hiking here but you can walk the road around the park. We took our dachshunds kayaking and also had our fishing boat with and went further out on the river by the dam. Dogs are not allowed in the picnic area or the beach but that was fine as there seemed to be a lot of goose poop there. We definitely enjoyed this park.
