Description
Explore towering, 300-foot high sandstone cliffs, thousands of acres of primitive forests, sand beaches and a bevy of history and culture on Grand Island in Lake Superior. Murray Bay Group Campsite On Grand Island is located in the island's southeast corner, and can accommodate from seven to twenty five people. A vault toilet is nearby, but other facilities are limited so be sure to bring your own supplies. Be aware that mosquitoes and black flies can be particularly noxious from mid-May to mid-July. This is a rare spot from which to explore Grand Island's many natural attractions.
