Description
Want to camp out on an island? You can at Merrick State Park, located on the wide waters of the Mississippi. All the island sites as well as some sites in the south campground include river access for mooring your boat - or you can fish right from your camp. Enjoy the manicured, easy-to-walk trails. If you want to explore the water but didn't bring a boat, you can rent a canoe from the office. The park even has a special pet-friendly picnic area.
