St. Petersburg / Madeira Beach KOA is located in a tropical setting along a mangrove-lined bayou. The campground has 50 amp service available, and can accommodate rigs up to 60 feet. Other amenities include Wi-Fi (for a fee), swimming pool, hot tub, mini golf, fishing, group pavilion, bike rentals, propane and firewood (for a fee).

Not ideal for larger pets
What we hoped would be a spacious and someone private campsite was anything but. In fact our common area was next to two others. The site next to us was having a large family birthday party which meant we had to stay inside our camper or leave the site. People were friendly at the KOA but we would not go back if we aren't sure where our site is located. Our dog was a nervous wreck.

Love this place
We stayed here for a week last year (2016), site was beautiful! We are going back this year. We stay there to visit family. Will most likely make this a yearly thing!
