Located in a private wooded setting, nicely landscaped yard. Sit in the Adirondacks on the shorefront and watch the waves crashing on the rocks, the seagulls flying, and the lobstermen pulling their traps---all from this pristine, quiet, relaxing cottage. Buy lobster right off the dock and steam them in sea water in an outdoor cooker. Just 5 miles to the village of Winter Harbor and Acadia National Park's, Schoodic Peninsula. Drive around the park loop along the rocky shore, while enjoying views of the open ocean and the nearby islands. Take the ferry from Winter Harbor to Bar Harbor; enjoy the quaint village of Winter Harbor, art galleries, restaurants and even a golf course. Local grocery store, hardware store, and gas station in town also. Enjoy the real Maine Coast, how Maine used to be!
