Econo Lodge Lexington welcomes three pets of any size in designated rooms for an additional fee of $20 per pet, per night. Both dogs and cats are allowed. Well-behaved pets may be left unattended in rooms, but a 'Do Not Disturb' sign must be placed on the door. Housekeeping will not enter rooms with unattended pets. Had to pile up the furniture in front of the door to get any sleep. Punch hole in the wall, broken bathroom door, ceiling mold in the shower, a bug in the carpet, and bug eggs in a pile below the electrical outlet. Shopping carts abandoned by the side entrance. The manager was nice but WOW.

I’m not that picky and expect a “lesser” room when I travel with pets. But this place was dirty. There was a glib if something that looked like the innards of a mouse at the side entrance (inside). Lots of visible dirty spots on the carpet. I get that they can’t clean the carpets every day but it was bad. I wouldn’t even shower there. I didn’t eat their breakfast either. They did have a waffle maker.

About what you’d expect - made for a convenient overnight stop along i80. Room smelled fine and was reasonably clean (definitely could use some updates). Breakfast was very basic (muffins, bread, diy waffles, juice...no fruit of any kind). It was quiet, didn’t see any other pets. Good price & convenient location.
