Ishicho was built through the ruins of the house of Kido Takayoshi, and around it, there are many historic places of famous Sakamoto Ryoma and other persons. We promise quiet environment, desirability of the location in the city and a relaxing time. We prepare our original experience plans such as transforming to Maiko, making Japanese sweets, making scent bag, etc. We have big baths to relieve the weariness of the journey. The bathtub has plenty of room to stretch out. We offer various big and small party hall to meet your requests for conference and training with very Japanese hospitality. You can enjoy our dishes with seasonal ingredients, with your visual and taste sense in your guest room. You can use Japanese-style guest room as space which could envelop you in a warm atmosphere to relieve the weariness of sightseeing of Kyoto. In lobby, we receive you with relaxing Japanese aroma so that you could feel atmosphere of Kyoto. And we prepare dinner and breakfast in your room. All guest rooms are equipped with bath, toilet, hand towel, bath towel, body soap, soap, dryer, Japanese bathrobe and other toilet articles. You can utilize experience plans to enjoy more Kyoto. We have plans of making Japanese sweets, making Japanese spinning top, riding in a ricksha, viewing Maiko, wearing kimono, etc. Subway Tozai line 5 minutes walk from, Kyoto Shiyakusho-mae station,, Keihan Kyoto line 5 minutes walk from, Jingu Marutamachi station,, 15 minutes by car from, JR Kyoto station,, Taking Meishin Expressway: Take Route 1 from Kyoto Minami Interchange and drive for 20 minutes, Taking Meishin Expressway: Take Sanjo Dori Keage Street from Kyoto Higashi Interchange and drive for 20 minutes. Parking are subject to fees. 90 minutes by car from Kansai Airport, 60 minutes by car from Itami Airport
