The Inn has a lovely garden setting. My room had its own fenced (very private) patio. It was comfortable and close to restaurants and shops but off the main road. So, it was very quiet. The staff is very kind, and they serve a lovely breakfast every morning and wine and snacks in the early evening. My dogs loved it, and so did I.

Charming B&B with super nice hosts. They served delicious frittata and yogurt parfait with homemade granola. Happy hour in the afternoon for wine, cheese, salami. The location is walking distance into town and the beach.

Stayed here for 3 nights in April and had a great time. Very close to the many restaurants and shops, walk to the beach, and very friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again. Nice patio space for my dog to relax, good size bedroom area. bathroom on the smaller side, as was the kitchenette.

Very comfortable especially the bed. The fire was prepared in the fireplace. Nice breakfast in the morning. Very doggie friendly. We’ll stay there again. Friendly staff.

Beautiful quiet place in Pacific Grove. Clean, friendly staff, and surrounded by a peaceful neighborhood not far from shops in Carmel. great breakfast which is included in your stay, just a wonderful place to stay, and not far from dog beach which my dogs loved.

This place is awesome. Great location within walking distance to a beautiful dog beach. Adorable area in Carmel. The owners have a dog and are dog people. They are also amazing chefs and provide free breakfast! Will definitely be staying here again.

The location could not have been any better! My French bulldog was treated like family. I loved that we had our own fenced in patio for Bochy to relax in. We were in walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and beach. I can't wait to return.

We stayed at Carmel Garden Inn for my husband's birthday. Location is perfect close walk to restaurants and shops. The patio in front of our room was private and peaceful. Room was cozy and comfortable. Our doberman was very welcomed. The innkeeper Curtis was so nice and his helper Colin was so caring and polite. I highly recommend Carmel Garden Inn for dog people!

Carmel Garden Inn was a great place to stay. They offered a nice breakfast that was delicious. They did not have much for our sweet dog, no treats or beds were offered to her. I was able to use their hose to wash her off after the beach day. Luckily, I brought everything she needed. Overall, a great stay. Just don't expect any special treatment for the fur child.

Gated patio where dog can explore. Allowed to leave dog in room with contact info. Charging station behind the inn if you have an EV vehicle. Laundromat within walking distance. Great breakfast. Quiet location. Very relaxing.

I love the charm and intimate feel of this B&B and that it is within walking distance of so many shops and restaurants. Their pet fee is very reasonable compared to what other local places charge and the breakfast and social hour are always delicious. Unfortunately due to COVID restrictions the social hour was cancelled, but we were given a menu at check-in with selections for breakfast and it was delivered to our room right on time the next morning. It was hot and very satisfying. No special amenities were given for our little doggie, but the beach is a short 15-minute walk down the street and dogs of all sizes are free to run and play off leash if they want. We always keep our Roux on leash but those dogs that were running free had responsible owners with them and it was a treat to see so many happy pups at play. Poop bags are available on site and we saw no evidence of anyone leaving anything behind. All in all it was a great stay and we look forward to going back next time we are out that way. Five stars for people, but four bones for the doggie. Only because they don't do anything extra or special for canine guests like some other places do.

Clean, quaint, charming, great location and pet friendly. The owners were most understanding when we had to change plans due to an ailing pooch. Saw the vet and re-booked. Highly recommend.

We had a really nice stay over the 4th of July weekend. My dog is terrified if fireworks so we wanted to get away from the noise. Carmel was perfect. No fireworks. The inn made some adjustments due to COVID-19, but it didn’t effect our stay. Breakfast was served every morning in the room. It was yummy. The rooms were comfy. Nothing glam, but nice enough. They have everything you need. Even though our room was off the street it was still quiet. We did have people walking by off and on which did set off my dog a couple of times and was a bit distracting, but not a deal breaker. The inn keeper, Curtis, was very nice and helpful. The location was good as well. We are definitely going back and staying in a king room. The hotel and the area are very dog friendly. We would recommend a stay.
