Place was dirty, stains in carpets and furniture. Pool and hot tub were gross. Don’t recommend it at all!

The room was pretty “run down” especially considering the price. Several handles in the kitchenette and bedroom dressers were falling off. Perhaps when you have a dog friendly room one gets the most run down room. I definitely have stayed at nicer dog hotels for the price we paid.

Absolutely no attention to the pandemic protocol with regards to masks or social distancing. Employees were not wearing masks - no requirement for guest to wear masks or stand 6 feet apart at reception. If you don’t want to require guest to wear masks at least care enough for your employees to keep them safe and require them to.
Our room was full or stained carpet and dog nose imprints on the windows. Carpet needed to be replaced and windows washed. There was a nice grassy dog run area (not fenced) but no receptacles for dog poop bags so irresponsible owners just left the poop. I wouldn’t stay at another Staybridge given corporate covid policies and this place needs a good clean. - DianaFeb 22, 2020Very dog friendly
We stayed there with our large dog and they gave us a first floor room close to the door leading to the dog walk area which is appropriately equipped with bags and trash can. The room was clean and quiet.

Friendly staff. Nice building in good repair. Dedicated area for the dogs on the east side with a door in and out of the hotel just down from the elevator.
Decent breakfast buffet and good coffee.
Will definitely stay again if we make another trip thru.

I would definitely stay again. They even had dog treats. Their elevator was down, but even that wasn't terribly difficult. We really enjoyed our stay.

Staybridge Suites is competing in our minds with Home2 Suites by Hilton, which is a beautiful newer hotel nearby, but which was fully booked for that night. We booked Staybridge same day, hence paid top rate up front at time of booking, with no refund policy - this was over three times the price of Home2 Suites. We were given a room on 2nd floor rather than ground (ie dog). So advice is to book days ahead of time if possible to get the room of choice at a reasonable rate. The room was quiet and clean although that particular one had a bit of a 'used' smell on first walking in. Good water pressure. Nice rough thick towels. Only basic few small toiletries, but ample shower gel, shampoo, conditioner hanging on wall. Bed (King) and bedding crisp clean - decent comfort-level . Hotel has a pleasant public area by reception and the reception staff are great...the dog loved the arrival-treats given to him. Evening staff were able to supply a delivery menu for a local chinese, 'Pacific Rim' - excellent quality meal, and it arrived in 30 mins to the room door). Hotel included buffet breakfast, it would have been nice to eat off more sturdy plates (cheap polystyrene). At 8am when we arrived, the hot choice was egg and bacon. The egg (scrambled) had all gone. Cold eats - yoghurt, cereal, fruit etc - looked fresh, enough choice - I had yoghurt, fruit and nuts. Our dog was allowed (we asked first) into the breakfast area adn sat under table. Though he started to bark at passing rollers and trolleys, as he is not used to the environment (nor hotel travel). We realised this may be an issue and so hurried up. Indeed the receptionist came up and asked that we try to keep him quiet or we would be asked to leave. We were about to leave anyway, so all was fine. Apologies to the hotel for the noise and we totally understand people don't want to hear that at breakfast. Over all a pleasant stay, glad of a room at short notice.

The hotel management understands dog friendliness. They are super relaxed about dogs and have a great outdoor grassy run for dogs.
