No lobby (just person behind plastic partition). Like renting hotel room in NYC bodega. Threatening signs warning about charges, improper use, etc. Odd way to treat guest as potential thieves and vandals from the get-go. Rust in shower. Peeling paint on door. Cigarette holes and burns on bedspread. Floor not swept. Threatened to prosecute if left dog in hotel room unattended.

Not even gonna complain about stuff on the floor, slow draining sink, or the smell of past cigarettes. What I will LOUDLY complain about is the episodic LOUD banging of a closing door near us. As soon as we were about asleep, WHAM! All night long. Finally called the desk and stated our room number. Her reply, “We don’t have a room with that number.” Told her what was going on and she said she’d get her partner up and take care of it. The banging continued thru the rest of the night. Our suspicion is that someone was selling something out of the room next to us. This place is not safe! Recommend you go somewhere else. Lesson learned: you get what you pay for.

Roaches, drink spills on wall, big tear in ancient blanket, unattended trash, heating not functional, no amenities, general signs of neglect, excessively unfriendly host.
