  Great place to stay!!

  My only suggestion is to design a better dog relief area. If it was mine, I would elevate the grass area slightly on one edge and offset to a gutter system with a sprinkler to wash down dog pee. My dog would only step in as far as needed to pee and poop and would BACK OUT DUE TO THE SMELL. However, we really appreciate the facilities and our stay.

  Very convenient to downtown. Staff was friendly and helpful, a dog run was available, and rooms were clean. Overall a great hotel experience.

  Think there were fleas in the room bc my daughters and I all have bites we didn’t have before. Pleasant outdoor spaces. Staff very welcoming!

  Great views, location, and space

  My husband and two small dogs enjoyed great space in a King suite at the Aloft. We walked to restaurants and The Falls Park. Plus, we could see the Smokies on the horizon from the room's windows. Sweet! The small kitchenette made dog meals easy.

  Cleanliness and Safety

  There was a homeless/unhoused lady asking for cigarettes in the downstairs lobby one morning. Cleanliness - we saw that under the sofa, there were crumbs, crackers (Goldfish) that had never been vacuumed over time. Also, only having one operating elevator was an inconvenience as it didn't feel safe standing waiting on an elevator when there's an unhoused/homeless person in the lobby who didn't get what they wanted from you. But the staff was friendly.

  Great Hotel for Pets

  Aloft, in general is a very pet-friendly hotel. In Greenville, they are also in a great location with several pet- friendly restaurants in close walking distance. Have stayed here several times.

  City life

  Really nice hotel. Everyone is super friendly to the fur babies, but they need a real green patch for pups. The turf is not my fave. Would be nice if that space was bigger as well.

  BEST dog friendly hotel!

  This hotel is the most dog friendly place we have ever stayed! The staff is incredible, dog biscuits for the dogs at check in. A lot of their decor is of dogs. There is a potty place on the 6th floor. Greenville itself is also very dog friendly. This will be our #1 hotel chain in the future! Highly recommend!

  Ok but no service

  Rooms are ok for dogs but for humans not so good. Do not expect food cook; vanished 2 days on our visit. Bar ran out of 2 beers and did not restock. Reception is not helpful and finding a place for you dog to relieve itself is not clear, apart from some fake grass by the pool. Best place for your dog is outside parking garage where there is a 30 ft thin strip of grass. Overall ok for dogs not so good for humans

  It was an experience

  We enjoyed having a cabana room, just off the pool, with the dog run on the same floor. Our daughter was thrilled, Atlas (our Doberman) was not. He's not a city dog, he wasn't so sure about the dog run. Dog bowl and bed were too small, but I'm glad he had something. I thought when reserving and mentioning you had a pet, they had things ready for them. We had to ask for everything and they only brought one bowl when I asked for two. There were no toys or bones. The lady at registration did find him some milk bones the next morning, after I asked if they had anything. It was clean and I'd stay again, but it was not as I had expected.

  Visiting Greenville to see family. The hotel is extremely dog friendly! Everyone was super nice. Great atmosphere. Very clean rooms. Close to the park. Will certainly book again the next time I’m in town.

  Extra fee charged for dogs

  Very dog friendly, but day shift staff were kind of aloof hipster kids, night shift was great. We did book through BringFido yet were still charged extra for the dogs.

  Very dog friendly

  Hotel was very dog friendly. There is a dog walk near the pool and a park nearby for longer walks. Hotel is right in the heart of downtown so we were able to walk to and from dinner. Room was on the smaller side but it was clean and had everything we needed.

  We stayed a couple of nights at Aloft Greenville. The hotel was very dog friendly in their welcome. We saw lots of dogs there during our stay. Would recommend.

  Excellent Location

  Easy access to Main Street shops and restaurants. Unusual parking but got the gang of it in no time. Our dogs are not fans of “dog walk areas” with fake grass but had no problem walking through breezeway to use grassy area. Room had obvious smell and could see soiling on carpet but Manager was prompt in responding it would be addressed (per post visit follow up).

  I have a medium to large dog and he was very comfortable. We even spent time at the bar on a cool evening. Hotel is an easy walk to all the city has to offer.

  Just an overall great experience. This hotel welcomes dogs with open arms and dog decor throughout the hotel. It was very clean and the staff was super friendly.

  Super Pet Friendly

  We stayed here for one night. It was convenient, clean and in a great location. Check in was easy. Very pet friendly (has its own dog run). Super quiet room. Close by to everything. The staff were great and there is parking on site for $7. Would definitely stay again.

  Pretty Good Hotel

  If you like urban hotels, then this is a good hotel for you. The rooms are clean and the views aid downtown Greenville are nice. I loved that they are dog friendly and have a dog run on the 6th floor for my baby to do her business. It has more of a party vibe instead of a family hotel, and the staff, for the most part we’re friendly. They didn’t have a way to get breakfast in the morning, which was disappointing, but, overall, it was a decent place to stay.

  Great location, nice dog run on 6th floor but dirty rooms

  I have stayed here a few times visiting family in Greenville and love the location and parking garage attached the hotel. The past two times I have stayed here, the rooms had stains on the rugs. I understand that there are certain rooms designated as "dog friendly" which is fine but at least clean the rugs.

  Great Location

  Hotel's location is great! Very close to many attractions in downtown Greenville, SC. We stayed with our two dogs - Yorkie and German Shepherd and it was perfect. Dog friendly, clean and convenient. We will definitely stay there again when we are back in Greenville.

  Dog Friendly All The Way

  I will definitely stay at this place again in the future. It is very dog friendly, and even has adoptable local shelter pups in the lobby. I forgot my pup’s water bowl, so they provided one to me. Room was on 6th floor near the dog run. Room was pretty quiet and seemed to be somewhat sound proof as we couldn’t hear hallway traffic or neighboring room noises. The main sleep area is separated from the entry door by the bathroom area and wall, so it kept my dog from focusing on the doorway. Room was very clean with no odors. Glass shower allowed my dog to see me and stay comforted. Elevators are very quick, which is great for bathroom breaks. The ground level entrance sits in a retail & restaurant alley with many dog friendly outdoor dining options. Location is right off of Main St which has many retail, coffee and dining options

  VERY Dog Friendly In A Great Location

  This hotel obviously values their canine customers! Our room had pictures of dogs on the wall (a nice touch) and they have a rooftop patio with an enclosed dog run for peeing and pooping. Only downside is that their waste bag dispenser was empty, but we had our own. The patio also has a fire pit, but unfortunately it wasn’t working when we were there. In spite of the mist, we were able to see the Smoky Mountains in the distance from the patio.

  The hotel is only 3 blocks from the Reedy River, which is a GREAT place for taking your dog for a long scenic walk. The hotel is also close to a bunch of dog-friendly restaurants (see my review of the Passerelle Bistro). We would definitely stay here again.

  Excellent staff

  I usually can't travel too much with my dog because she is tall and over the weight limit of most hotels. The people at the front when we checked in were awesome and gave Carl tons of attention. The room itself was clean and comfortable. We'll definitely be staying at Aloft hotels from now on. Thanks!!

  4th holiday relaxation

  We stayed at the hotel to prevent my fur baby from hearing fireworks which tend to stress her out. She felt very at home and was very stress free!!!

  Great downtown hotel

  We were all comfortable at the Aloft! They were so pet friendly without compromising on the quality of the hotel. I love the hotel bar and their truffle fries are to die for!
