  Great Hotel

  The room was large and very clean without smelling like disinfectant or as if it were masking previous pet smells. The bed was comfortable. While there were a lot of cars in the parking lot, it was also nice and quiet. The staff was very professional and personable. I highly recommend staying here.

  Well-Earned Top Ratings!

  Pleasant one-night stay on the way from MN to GA. Can see how Auburn Place earned top ratings on Trip Advisor. Room was surprisingly large and included a small sofa, coffee table and wet bar. All property was clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was nice enough but would always appreciate more fresh fruit. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Would recommend asking for a room away from the highway. We did and our room was very quiet!

  Clean, Accommodating, Kind Staff

  Our RV broke down in Paducah and we were stuck with our Brittney. Fido recommended Auburn Place and it was PERFECT. Clean updated room and a nice big open field for Prince to run in. Lots of restaurants nearby. Staff graciously extended our stay when our RV wasn’t ready. Wonderful experience all around.

  Beautiful newer hotel, extra large room, convenient grassy potty area, right off the interstate. This was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed with our dogs and it was less expensive than many of the hotels we stayed at on our cross country road trip. Highly recommend!

  Friendly and comfortable. Very nice suite, staff very friendly. Total price $130 seems high, $26 extra for a dog that left no trace doesn’t seem right. Breakfast was good. We’ll be back.

  I stayed at a Sheraton during this same trip, and this hotel was cleaner and had better amenities! Fridge and microwave in the room and neither in the Sheraton! Nice mid point between destinations and lots of restaurants and things nearby.

  Loved the big rooms and very reasonable rate and per fee. Easy access to door for taking our dog out. Next room over was just a little too loud late at night or thin walls?

  Best Dog Accommodations Ever!

  We've traveled thousands of miles with our 160-pound Newfoundland and have never found better pet-friendly accommodations than Auburn Place. It is tops for pet travelers! Even without a dog, it would now be my first choice to stay. The only downside is that it is a local, family owned/operated group, so for now there are only two. If you are in Paducah or Cape Girardeau this is THE Hotel to stay in! If they are able to expand, their level of hospitality, service, room quality and amenities will put Hilton out of business. I'm glad to support them whenever we are in the area.

  Easy access. Nearby green space was fine for playing fetch. Walkable restaurants. Seriously consider going to Pattis 1880 settlement 30 mins east.

  Stinky Room

  Nice personnel at check-in. Room as supplied with 2 small soap bars and a tiny container of multipurpose body wash/shampoo. No other toiletries supplied. I could tell housekeeping tried really hard to cover the stench in the room but the smell of dog poop was so powerful that I had difficultly falling asleep. Maybe I’m just too smell sensitive and I can accept that. Normally I find hotels that charge a pet fee are more sanitary smelling. This was not the case at Auburn Suites and therefore I cannot recommend the hotel nor will I stay here again strictly based on aroma.

  This was such a great place to stay. Very clean, and the staff were so friendly. Very dog friendly. One of the employees left a note in our room and wrote: "What seems to us bitter trials are often blessings in disguise” Enjoy your stay 🤍 Tiffany. It’s just a nice welcoming place. The rooms were very clean. They have free breakfast. Coco also gave it a 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶

  Positive experience from check in to check out. Staff were friendly and welcomed us and our 2 large dogs. They gave us a room on the first floor near an exit door. Rooms are large and clean. Would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again.

  Staff was friendly. Only issue was that someone must have snuck in a small dog next door to our room. It barked incessantly for 2 hours. Staff said those people didn’t register a dog. They were unwilling to investigate.

  Great Pet Friendly Hotel

  The room was very clean. Where in most hotels a dog friendly room will show signs of previous dogs having stayed there, it was clear that the pet fee was being used to take care for the room. Would definitely stay there again.

  Had no problems with check in, they gave us a room on the first floor for our dog. Not allowed to leave the pet unattended in the room, so this was an issue while trying to do laundry because you also can’t walk dogs in the “public areas” so no lobby, no hallways unless leaving or coming, and no laundry rooms. My boyfriend and I had to take turns checking laundry and watching the dog. Other than that it was nice and clean, big room, and no issues!

  We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our room and how nice it was at Auburn Place in Paducah. The beds were so comfy and the sheets and comforter so nice that I slept deeply for the first time in over a week. We loved it!!!

  Desk clerk assigned a room then chased us down in the parking lot to change it. “The lady upstairs has 5 kids. Your dog may not like that.” Rooms were huge! Plenty of grassy field to roam and sniff. Will stay there again and again!

  Lots of grass. Restaurant next door has outdoor seating for dogs with treats and water bowls. Hotel really fussed over the huskies. And free evening cookies for the human. Definitely in the top two or three dog stays ever!

Welcoming, friendly staff, clean comfortable room, delicious hot breakfast, despite COVID, which was handled with guests safety in mind. Wish there were more Auburn Place hotels available. Most importantly, our dog was also welcomed and not just tolerated. We will be back.

  Recommend when traveling with large dogs

  Pros:
  Actually pet friendly. Having two large dogs, nothing is more annoying than a “pet friendly” hotel that only allows dogs up to 20 lbs and/or charges exorbitant fees. Auburn Place is legit and allows two pets any size for only $10 extra per night.
  Super friendly staff.
  Grassy areas right outside.
  Nice dog park about a mile and a half away.

  Con: Walls are very thin, so you’ll hear EVERYTHING happening in adjacent rooms. Luckily, everyone seemed to quiet down at a reasonable time.

  My only tiny complaint would be that they need to update their technology options in the room ... I didn't have my adaptor so couldn't charge my phone. I know, my bad, but it's an easy fix and would be a nice touch. Great for me and my dogs though.
