This is a very nice property, but we could hear everything going on in the room above us. Lots of room to walk the dogs, though.

We came for a rainy mid-week getaway. Resort staff was very dog friendly, and they have designated pet rooms set aside. You can also leave your dog unattended in the room if you want to do a human-only activity. Lots of property to walk around, and the geese and horses were nearby. Only challenge was getting up the stairs to our room - our 80 pound OES was uncomfortable with the open steps, and is definitely too big to carry. Some treats and coaxing got her up, and by day 2 she was walking them with no problem.

The room was great for the dog but not the humans. Carpet had visible stains and generally speaking was old, tired and dated.

I had a little apprehension about picking from the choices listed of dog friendly hotels in the Lake George area. From the online pics many places looked a little outdated. I understood bringing your dog whose habits were unknown to the hotel owners causes possible placement into rooms less upgraded than in rooms not to be shared with our family pets. Well Roaring Brook Ranch was a fantastic surprise. Not only were the rooms large and spacious but they were extremely clean and comfortable. The staff was great. The property was huge. There was so much to explore for myself and my dog. The only regret we had was an understandable one. Dogs weren't allowed in the pool area. But that worked out perfectly as my baby decided he needed a little nap time. Kudos to BringFido and the many options they offer to us and our pets.

we have a St. Bernard and some places discriminate against larger breeds (lol). They were great with Maggie - no problem at all.
Really nice lace lots of things to do - ping pong, basketball, tennis, cornhole, outdoor chess. Beautiful grounds, pond, horses, geese, and ducks. - KathrynNov 9, 2019Guest Review

Safe Stay: Roaring Brook Ranch Resort has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks.
