We stayed in a cottage with our somewhat anxious 1 1/2 year old pup and had a great time! The cottage was quaint and super cozy and a short ride into Lake George Village and the dog beach. There were quite a few other dogs staying at the same time, but the grounds were super quiet and made for a super relaxing mountain getaway! Will definitely stay here again next time we head up to Lake George.

Nice area around cabin to walk puppy. 15 minutes from Lake George dog beach, 30 minutes from dog-friendly Saratoga Springs

We have been camping for the past 5 days, Lake George was one of our last destinations. We found ourselves in the middle of a severe rainstorm and decided to book a room somewhere. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at the Amber Lantern! Such a cute place and it was SUPER clean! And our host was very welcoming in the down pour to us and our pooch. Only a few miles from downtown. Would book again in a heartbeat.

Our stay was good. We'd book again. Only downfall, the beds. Our back broke after the 1st night. LOL. Its a cheap & clean & quiet stay. We would book again if we hit Lake George again. Nice location and gorgeous in the fall time. :)

My husband and I along with our 11 year old lab-mix pup stayed here for 2 nights. The cabin was cute and served as a great home base for our couple day trip. The location was great and it was nice to be able to sit outside at night on our porch where the only thing we would hear were the crickets. The gentleman who runs the cabins was very helpful. We would certainly stay here again.
