  Lots of misses

  We've stayed at Aloft Hotels before. They are a fun hotel with a cool sense of style. Our 2 nights fell short of a good hotel stay. Lobby was being redone with quite a mess around; no air-conditioning in lobby, hallways, elevators. Our first assigned room had very inadequate A/C and the TV didn't work. We were assigned another room and it was all good. But the restaurant was closed, the bar was closed, the swimming pool was cloudy, and the handrails were very loose. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, but this hotel was not up to having guests.

  There are no 1st floor rooms. The dog park they tout takes about 6 min to get from room to grass (walking down long corridors, riding slow elevator down, then another loooong walk to the back of the building by the dumpsters). I didn't find this hotel very pet accommodating at all. Evidently the definition of "pet friendly" varies from hotel to hotel. In past 3 months, have had to stay in NINE rooms with pets. I will not be at the Aloft again with a pet; way too cumbersome to deal with.

  Absolutely perfect!

  Our stay was amazing! My Tibetan mastiff loved it!! very friendly staff and the neighborhood is super sweet and dog friendly. Our room was gorgeous and very comfy! The best part is they have a dog park right next to the hotel for the dogs to play and socialize. This is the most fun my dog has had at a hotel! I can’t recommend it enough!

  Great location, room and staff

  Our room was upgraded to a suite (because our chosen room was not ready at check-in) and it was clean and comfortable. Most important, the close dog-walking area and dog park was perfect, and it’s near local restaurants and activities. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a parking charge which was well worth it for a close-by covered garage, and there was no pet fee.

  The room was clean and accommodations were fine for our needs. We were passing through for one night and needed a place I could be sure would take my doggie. Hotel is in a really cute neighborhood.

  Best hotel ever!!!

  This place is AWESOME! Great staff. Lots of room in lobby, bar, and hallways which was important traveling with 3 big dogs. Dogs can be everywhere with you…even playing pool! Rooms were roomy and the whole place has a great vibe — bold colors, modern style. The dog park next to the hotel is perfect and the pub next to the dog park has good food and drink and service. The hotel bed was heavenly. The chorizo egg wrap for breakfast was fresh and tasty. Can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Also it IS free parking. Just press the little silver button at the bottom and the gate lifts up. I need another excuse to go to Oklahoma City!

  We were just passing through as we’re moving. Super easy check in, no hassle with my pups. Had a little dog park out in the back!! Definitely recommend and would stay again passing through.

  Great For Pups, Less So For Humans

  If I’m grading solely on pet friendly, five bones isn’t enough! The Aloft was great. Dog park adjacent to it and a pet salon with great amenities in the same building. It’s within walking distance of everything Bricktown. That being said, the first room was very musty. The a/c didn’t work properly. The refrigerator was frozen up and unusable. We had to change rooms after the first night. They also put $335 worth of preauthorization on a pre-paid 3-day stay. It still hasn’t been returned to my account as of this review. I’d give it about 2 Bones for human-friendly. The staff over the weekend were very friendly and did all they could to make things right. The a/c , etc. wasn’t their fault. It’s a toss up whether we will return.

  Great location when traveling; easy access off of I-40. Accommodations were perfect for our pup. Our stay was quick as we were just passing through; but would definitely stay here again!

  Parking was a little steep, but the room was clean and the property was in a perfect area to walk around. The dog park was great and down the street we ate across from the ball park and they let me bring my big dog with us. Patio seating. :)

  So, they where having an air conditioning problem, because it was so hot everywhere in the place. Even in the room and we had our own controls. It was nice that there was a dog park behind the hotel. I didn’t like that the parking garage was $17 a day! And it was their lot. Not like we were paying someone else. Decent location to get around town. Rooms where a nice size, which I appreciated. But, the walls very thin!

  They gave us bowls at check in for our dog and were all around super kind. Everything was clean and well-run. the only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 is because there isn’t a TON of grass outside for dogs to go potty and no dog waste station (at least not that I saw). However, I’d definitely stay again!

  Friendly staff, truly great accommodations

  If you’re traveling through/in OKC with dogs, this is a great hotel! The staff at the front desk gave our dogs a little treat bag that even included coupons for a free self-wash at the adjacent pet store (also worth checking out for some cute treats and other dog goodies). They even provided dog bowls. Additionally, there is a dog park right next to the hotel. We were allowed to have the dogs sit with us while we ate in the bar area, which was convenient (they just can’t bark or disturb other patrons).

  So many dog amenities nearby

  We had such a pleasant stay in February 2022 at this property. There is a dog park located directly behind the hotel and a bar (The Blok) which is dog friendly and has outdoor seating facing the dog park. We had so much fun despite the snow and ice on the ground playing outside. It definitely made our stay more enjoyable. Room was clean and modern. There is also a dog boutique store next door that offers toys and self pet wash!

  Very trendy hip. Big comfortable room with modern layout. Located in the fashionable Bricktown district with lots of places to walk the dogs. Dog baths next door was a plus.

  Aloft is a nice hip hotel chain that is located in proximity to where travelers need to go. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff went beyond expectation. We would definitely stay again.

  Nice hotel bed & amenities… but

  If you’re after spotless, this isn’t your place, or staff that are capable of handling unpleasant situations - like the individual peeling out loudly for hours in the empty adjacent lot to my window. My stay was during the severe staffing shortage, but regardless, the night attendant could have cared less as to what noise was happening. My king size mattress was nice & the dry bar hygiene products greatly appreciated and a nice touch. The lobby decor was inviting, but the music sound was at an overly loud decibel regardless of time of day. Strange. And the entry/exit door from garage doesn’t push in, pulls out. Hardly hospitable! Ha!

  Very Dog Friendly

  This upscale modern hotel in Bricktown OKC was a much needed break with our dog while traveling cross country. Clean, comfortable bed. Winter, so outdoor pool was closed. Easy access to the dog park around the corner, wish we’d had some daylight to walk the river. We arrived after dark, and left before the sun came up, but left rested!

  Check in was a breeze. Pay to park in garage which was safe and well lit. Well lit dog park beside hotel. And cute pet store attached to hotel. Only 4 bones due to room was dirty. Leftover dog food from someone else on carpeted floor. And looked like someone perhaps used the room briefly before we got there. Shower door was wet. Overall feeling of hotel was cold and unfriendly. But dog park and cute doggy boutique made up for it. Ok for an overnight stay.

  Loved the dog park next door

  Traveling across the country, this was probably our best stay. Not only was the hotel really nice but being right next to the dog park meant that in an 18 hour time span I took my puppy 3 times. She was so well behaved at the hotel and on the road as a result of being exhausted!

  Perfect for the dogs

  While it is in the city, there is a small dog park next door, as well as BONE, a pet store with grooming on the lower level (but you have to go outside). The hotel gave us a free self-wash coupon. I was extremely disappointed the XYZ was closed on the days that I got there. I wish there was a refrigerator. I think they put all the dogs on the 2nd floor which didn't have the best views, but it was so much fun otherwise.

  Great Dog Park

  Next to the hotel there is a really good dog park. Room was big and modern but feeling in hotel was cold and unfriendly. We were there on a Friday night. Heard complains about noisy loud party next to them....thin walls? Parking for one night is $17 even on weekends. Terrible breakfast rubbery eggs for $8. But, the dog park made up for the hotel.

  Underwhelming but good location

  The hotel has seen better days which is surprising as it seemed newish. Rooms were ok but dirty, smelled and directly across from every car pulling into the garage. I’m fairly confident these were dog specific rooms. Not bad but far from great. I won’t stay again.

  Nice little hotel right near Bricktown. Great little dog park right outside the hotel - took my dog there early in the morning to avoid lots of other people. The hotel itself was super dog friendly- great staff, big rooms, clean. A little dated but not a huge deal. The only things I didn’t like were that parking cost $17 a night and just that there’s not a ton of grass in that location apart from the dog park.

  The Aloft in Oklahoma City was sparkling clean and had ample parking on the premises. It is located in a historic area of downtown and has a convenient small dog park right next to it where our year-old hound met other friendly playful dogs and people. There were some cute cafes, pubs and coffee places nearby, but we had driven a long day so did not explore things much. There is also a self-grooming shop next door to Aloft where you can shampoo your fur baby. Next Time! : ) We stay in Alofts whenever they are available -- stylish places and NO pet fees. Very welcoming to them.

  This was a fantastic place to stay with our pup. The rooms were nice, a dog park behind the hotel, grass area out front, and a great walk right into Bricktown which I highly recommend. Wish they had a refrigerator and microwave but it was still worth the stay.

  Small rooms but nice. They had very good Covid protocols so it felt clean and safe. There is a small dog park next door and a great bakery for humans. Everyone was nice and both human and dog got a great night's sleep.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay while we were in Oklahoma City and our hotel was completely comfortable and dog friendly. There was a nice dog park just around the corner and a dog beauty parlor and pet supply shop at the rear of the hotel. This is a fabulous choice for people traveling with their fur family!

  Clean and comfortable modern hotel. Perfect for our pup. Only downside: they were lax on enforcing mask wearing in common areas. Hard to enforce but wish they did a little more.

  We spent one night at Aloft OKC on a cross country road trip with our Golden Retriever. The staff was very friendly and the hotel is in a great neighborhood. There is a dog park behind the hotel that was very convenient. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was a little pricier than other hotels we stayed in during our trip, but it was well worth it!
