Tetherow Hotel
Tetherow Hotel welcomes two dogs up to 75 lbs in designated rooms. The pet fee is $50 per pet, per stay in hotel rooms and $75 per pet, per stay in vacation rentals. Only ten rooms in the Highlands Building are pet friendly. Guests traveling with dogs must call (877) 411-3436 prior to booking to verify the availability of a pet-friendly room or risk not being able to check in with a dog and/or incurring any associated cancellation penalties. Dogs may not be left unattended in rooms. Treats, bowls, beds, and a map of off-leash dog parks are provided upon check-in. There is a grassy area for pet relief on the property. Sorry, cats are not permitted.

The Tetherow is a great place to stay when you’re in Bend with a pup.
The pet fee includes dishes, a treat, waste bags, and a bed.
The pet-friendly rooms aren’t a downgrade (as is the case at some hotels). They’re beautifully appointed and have lovely views.
As far as I could tell, dogs are welcome everywhere on the property except the pool/fitness center, inside the restaurants, and on the golf course. There are plenty of walking trails and waste disposal sites.
I’ll definitely be back here soon.
