  More than I expected

  The hotel was newly renovated, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a rear access so that we could take our dog for a walk without going thru the lobby. Easy access to the Interstate. Several restaurants delivered to the hotel.

  Everything was great. Real nice area for our black lab to exercise and take care of business. Breakfast was good.

  Convenient off the highway

  Stopped with my pup driving from VA to FL. The hotel was clean and staff helpful. The front of hotel is well lit to walk my pup at night. The gym equipment was not plugged in or functional and lots of clutter in corners and no doors on closets. It was fine, nothing fancy.

  Needs more areas for dogs

  The rooms appeared to be recently renovated. The property is located in a very busy area right on I-95. There is a small green area on the back side of the property for pets to relieve themselves but no convenient place to walk the dogs after a full day in the car. The noise level was fairly high due to the location. I would consider staying at this location again but without pets. With pets I would look for an alternative.

  Great location on I-95

  We stayed at this Best Western on our travels and it was very nice. The staff was very nice. The room was clean and breakfast good, although ends at 9, so you have to be an early bird. Great outdoor area for our dog to run around in. Would stay here again!

  Beats sleeping in your car

  Was told at check in that they have no king rooms on the first floor (where the pet friendly rooms are). The double room we ended up with was dated and showed lack of love. The bathroom door wouldn’t close fully and the a/c didn’t seem connected to the thermostat. It ran continuously into the night and my dog was shivering. The dilapidated, abandoned Travel Lodge next door is a little scary. My husband enjoyed the biscuits and gravy for breakfast and the whole spread was pretty decent.

  Good place to bring your dog

  The hotel itself is fine and the breakfast is very good for hotel fare. Our room was on the first floor right next to the outside door to the pet area, which is good sized and supplied with waste bags. Hardeeville itself is not the best area. There is an abandoned hotel next door that has squatters. That being said, the parking lot is well lit and the hotel is very busy. We are returning on our way home next week.

  I wouldn't stay here again.

  This was a last minute reservation and while the BringFido concierge was super helpful in confirming the availability of a pet friendly room, the hotel left much to be desired, especially at a $170 price tag once the pet fees were included. We found the hotel room itself to be in disrepair (actual holes in the bathroom baseboard), boogers (or something that looked like boogers) on the bedroom wall, stains on the bed skirt, and the hallway legit smelled like pot (which has been mentioned before). For our trip home, we opted for a pet friendly AirBnb instead and at $20 less it was a 1000% better experience!

  A “revovated” BW that needs new management.

  This was our second stay at this location. Both were underwhelming. 1st stay we were greeted with the smell of pot all up and down the halls. Water pressure in the showers was poor and the dog park area was covered in poop. The second stay the pot smell was still there but maybe not as noxious. We were given a room that wreaked of animal urine (I assume that’s what the extra charge for pets was supposed to address but didn’t). Unfortunately, we won’t be back.

  Great place to stay!

  The rooms have been or are being updated, room was clean and it was right off I-95! Parking was very tight as it was a full house and we had a trailer we were hauling. All in all, worth it. We’ll stay again!

  The room was clean and large. The whole hotel just smelled clean. The dog area was great and close to our room. I will stay here again on my return trip in a couple of weeks. I highly recommend.

  We were very delayed by traffic so a late check-in at 7pm but room was perfect. On first floor close to go in/out with dog. Nice breakfast.

  Homeless person sleeping in parking lot

  The hotel itself was fine, but there is a beaten down Travelodge just next store. My daughter and I walked our dog around the back of the hotel while we were there planning to walk the dog near the woods. It was very unsettling to find someone sleeping there.

  Easy off and on I-95

  Room was clean, floors are carpeted. Full breakfast! Hotel staff did not inform me of where the dedicated dog walk area was; my first stay I was using a space near the parking lot where the ground was uneven, then I saw someone else in a much nicer spot near the pool, where there were trash cans and bags available. There are not a lot of nice restaurants nearby, mostly fast food. However, there is a very nice dog park in the sports complex in town, just a couple miles back from the highway, so you won't be going far out of your way to give your pups a run before getting on the road.

  Kyle does it all

  They were possibly understaffed but you wouldn’t know it. The supervisor, Kyle Jenkins, was everywhere - checking people out, running the breakfast. The hotel was completely booked but everything went smoothly and breakfast was always well stocked. There was not one designated dog area but plenty of green space around the hotel which is what I was told to use. The only complaint we had is that it did not appear that the carpet in our room had been vacuumed. Would have appreciated a non carpeted room.

  Clean hotel in a safe area

  It has what you are looking for when you want a break from the road. Easy off and on. It is clean and they sell snacks (mac and cheese, ramen noodles) that you can warm up in the microwave in your room. Breakfast was better than the average in the morning and it is included. Would stay here again.

  This place is terrible

  Horrible service, double charged the pet fee, took forever to be checked into a room without working air (cold or hot). Overpriced, front desk person disappeared from desk for over half an hour at 7pm. Truly awful.

  We've traveled both north and south on 95 from Miami to New York and this is by far the cleanest and nicest hotel that we have stayed at. The desk personnel are professional, the room is renovated and spotless and front desk even provided a list of eateries that delivered right to the hotel. No stress and easy on and off 95.

  Never again any Best Western

  Arrived late due to repeated accidents shutting 95S down. Called ahead to inform hotel. Room door was open when we got to it. Room had a non-working AC (sure the reason for this is other people were given the room, found the AC not working, and were given another room). First told the maintenance person left for the night so just turn it off, wait 15 minutes, and turn it on again. This did not solve the problem. Asked for another room and told there were none...as other people were arriving and checking in. I asked for a fan - one was shared that had an inch of dust all over it. The maintenance person was finally called...after much discussion, he took a unit out of the hallway and to switch with our non-working one, which did solve the problem but he was very rude with us. Said he would discount our room, first by 10% and then by 20% (neither happened). Room had part of the ceiling broken out in the shower. Stairway smelled of urine. Customer service was horrible. The room, with the pet fee, was approximately $200. We did not get what was advertised and, therefore, what we expected. Never will book this or any Best Western again.

  Very Clean and Convenient

  Property was new, nicely appointed and very convenient to I 95. I appreciate the high end shampoo, lotion provided.. Room was right across from and exit door make it convenient to take my pooch now easily. Would definitely stay again

  Close to the interstate

  When I entered the room I noticed dried spots on the ceramic floor tile at the edge of the carpet. I’m thinking housekeeping missed an area. After moving our items in my wife noticed a wet carpet area near those spots. I blotted the wet area and it was urine. We went back to the desk and they moved us to a different room. All they had left was a room with two doubles rather than a king which we reserved weeks in advance. Good location but we will probably stay elsewhere next trip.

  Stopped here while traveling down 95 and needed a place to rest for the night. Very good stop. The hotel is clean, new, right off of 95 but not noisy. We would absolutely stay here again!

  Very friendly

  Everything here was clean and pleasant. The person at the desk checked that they had Monday Night Football and was very welcoming. There was a big grassy area at the end of the parking lot that was good for walking the dogs. No really good restaurants that we could find, but we didn't check every place on the list.

  Very nice hotel

  Excellent price and very clean. The only problem we saw was the patch job in the bathroom was rough. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast was very nice with lots of food. Very good service. We would stay again.

  Mold Problem

  Overwhelming mold odor in the lobby. Was given 2 different rooms and I couldn’t take it. I left and had my room refunded to me no problem.

  I've stayed before

  The rooms are clean and are larger than standard motel rooms.
  There is a fenced, grassy area to walk a dog.
  The breakfast has eggs and bacon as well as waffles and bagels.

  The dog area is covered with cigarette butts. There should be ash trays for smokers.
  This is my second stay and I haven't found a good place to have a light dinner. They need to research a more extensive list of nearby eateries. Those within one or two blocks aren't even good fast food.

  Good Location And Very Dog Friendly

  Right off i95 which is convenient but also makes for lots of road noise. Nice large modern rooms. As others mentioned the bed is like 4 feet high so thought my dog would have problem jumping up on it but he managed! Nice grassy area outside designed for dogs to do their business. Friendly front desk staff, lots of cheap eateries nearby, free breakfast at motel. Great value.

  Big renovated room...

  Very spacious room recently renovated, again BW WHY are you making beds/vanities for 6' tall folks, needed ottoman to get into bed, vanity was at chest level. Dogs were happy with space, good green space for walking dogs.

  Fairly new building (a yr or 2 old), very clean rooms, friendly staff, areas to walk dogs. Easy on/off Hwy. Would def stay again!
