The best hotel stay ever. The hotel is beautiful. The staff was divine and the food included with the fido meal package was some of the best food I have ever had. We are already planning another trip to spend more time at this hotel.

Thank you so much to the staff of the Kimpton Aertson for hosting us and our fur kids on Christmas. It was a wonderful time, and thoroughly enjoyed Christmas Eve dinner at Ichigo Ichie just downstairs!

First there is absolutely no where outside for your dog to relieve himself. The 7th floor doggie designated area was very disgusting; it had mounds of poop everywhere and smelled highly of urine. My dog refused to go there. I stayed at this hotel specifically for my dog, and will never be back. Rooms are highly overrated for what you get. Very VERY disappointed!! If I could rate zero dog bones I would.

We spent a night in Nashville within walking distance of Vanderbilt Medical Center with our 3 chihuahuas (4, 6, 7 yrs) and 4 month old Corgi. This Hotel is great to accommodate pets (no fee or restriction on size or #). Upon check-in our room selection wasn't available and the assigned room (very close to the dog walk area) wasn't prepared, so we were upgraded to a beautiful King size/walk-in shower room with awesome view appreciated by all, as well as a later check-out for doctor appt. The staff is very friendly, professional, and always available with information. We received a $15 room credit (recent promotion) and room service for dinner/breakfast is excellent. Got dogs? This is the place in Nashville for you!

It wasn't easy. I've stayed at countless Kimptons before, and the service here was just underwhelming. I got there, with my dog and my stuff- hoping to Valet, but with no valet or doorman in sight. Check-in was more or less easy but then had to schlep all of my stuff, plus my dog, to the room and then come back to figure out my car. No bowls/beds in the reserved dog room- had to call- they brought a single bowl, (um, water + food?). I realize this is picky, but I had just driven 12 hours and was hoping for a little *more.* They do have a grassy area on the 7th-floor parking lot; kinda stinky (I mean, it's a dog relief area), but there was a lot of dog waste on the turf and the doors didn't actually latch, so that was a little weird. Overall, an ok stay, but not sure if I would stay again. For almost $400, I just was hoping for a little more. Oh, and when I went to check out, the valet hadn't gotten there yet and the front desk clerk couldn't really help, so I had to drag all of my stuff + my dog back up to the valet section to load my dog and my car.

Staff were super friendly. Room was amazing! Clean, gorgeous, spacious. The bathroom had so much space too. I wish I had that shower in my house! And the pool on the roof was so refreshing.

Beautiful hotel but a bit of a walk to find any "green" for Fido to do his business. Pricey and not even a treat for the dog when we had to wait 2+ hrs for our room.

We got one of the bigger corner rooms which was perfect for the dog to run around after three long days of travel. Staff is VERY friendly to dogs. The restaurant will do take out; highly recommend eggs and grits for breakfast!

Gorgeous downtown Nashville location and the hotel staff was prompt to ask if we were traveling with pets and delivered beds and bowls to our room quickly. They also made sure our room was close to the dog area so that late night potty runs would be easier for us. The potty area smelled pretty strong of dog urine, but I'm not sure much more could be done at a location like that. Also, one suggestion for the pet rooms would be no carpet - wasn't an issue for us but seemed somewhat unsanitary. Overall a great place to stay with pets

We stayed one night at the Kimpton with our two dogs. Very cozy and comfortable; we stayed on the 7th floor where there is a indoor dog walk in the garage (my dogs refused to go there). Easy walking to most of Nashville’s major sightseeing

Pros:
The staff is extremely nice and helpful.
The hotel is very clean and modern.
There is a pet area accessible at night, and a dog bed was provided.Cons: The parking situation is a nightmare. No valet during the week. The self-park garage does not directly connect the hotel on every floor. This was not explained to us on check-in. No map provided- a suggestion my 5 year old made at we repeatedly navigated various floors & elevators.
Why an issue? Example: I (a single Mom) arrived with. a 70-lb 14 year old dog and a 5 year old in 100 degree weather. We parked on Floor 5. Could not access the hotel. Went down to ground level and had to walk around to the lobby. Got a luggage cart, back to floor 5. Load cart (all with 5 year old and exhausted old dog). No hotel access on this floor (or our room Floor #3). So up to Floor 7 (only floor with hotel access) to enter the building. Then down a maze of corridors to another elevator to Floor 3. (These were the instructions provided by the nice front desk attendant.)
No info was provided at check-in about pet relief areas. There is one provided on the 7th floor- inside the garage. Just image the smells coming from that plastic turf in a humid, mid-summer garage. So, so foul.
I splurged on a corner room with a balcony, as this was the last stop on a long trip from San Diego to South Carolina. We were assigned to a room on the 6th floor with a minibar. Then, the manager corrected the attendant- floor 6 is pet free. No problem, except our new room on Floor 3 did not come with a minibar. I would have gladly paid the zillion dollars for an ice cold water after the luggage, parking decathlon. Or something stronger.
No room service, but there is a restaurant on site. Menu looked nice, but zero kid-friendly options. And no nearby places (that I could locate) with pet-friendly patios. We ordered food delivery. No problem, except the room’s marble topped table only had 1 chair, and was too heavy to move closer to any other seat. So we ended up eating on the bed with towels protecting the duvet.
Nice place for people traveling light and with younger, more nimble dogs. But DEFINITELY not the relaxing, indulgent $400 experience I had hoped for. :(

This hotel is top notch, very stylish, staff was very helpful and happy to help. We enjoyed our quick stop here, the area is in music row, good food near by so you can walk. Also nice to walk our dog. Lots of music going on and parties. The bed as awesome, so comfy!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating but given how busy it was in that area, it became a little difficult to take Fido to the potty.

We had a do not disturb sign and a confirmed late checkout and when we got back to our hotel after a few hours away for an appointment we came home to NO dog! After finally leaving they solved the mystery and it turned out an unapproved employee entered our room! Let out out dog (allegedly unintentionally) and NEVER TOLD ANYONE! She was sitting by the parking garage door when another guest reported a lost dog! They have not been very accommodating for such an insane issue. I would NEVER trust them with another animal again. Thank God she was found and thank God she wasn't let out to downtown Nashville. - Veterinarian.

This was our puppy’s first hotel stay, and at 80 lbs and nine months old she doesn’t look her age. They were kind had great amenities, the room was clean and setup for dogs with a tile entry big enough for her to eat drink and lay down. The 7th floor outdoor relief area was darling and even though they are downtown, there were plenty of places to take our dog to walk and do her business.

Hotel was fair at best, cleaning wasn't the greatest. If you have eue level pendant lights in the bathroom, you should dust them and the black frame for the bathroom door. Dirty rooms are unacceptable, especially at this price point. Dog walk area in the garage was disgusting. I wouldn't let my fur baby use it. Thank goodness I brought puppy pads for him to potty on. I definitely will not be staying here again.

The hotel is beautiful, very clean and has a good service. We stayed with our 1 year old and our 65lbs Labrador. We checked out the dog relief area on the 7th floor but didn’t bothered going back since it’s too small and smelly for our picky puppy. Husband had to take the dog to the street. Breakfast was a bit pricey but worth it, delicious food.

The only thing that we did not like about this hotel was the traffic noise. We have one dog that is very nervous with noises, so the room assigned was not the best for us.
Park on the 7th floor of the hotel! The pet relief area is in the parking garage on this floor. Do not use the light green elevator to go to the hotel. It takes you to the street level. Use the stairs door to the left of the light green elevator and if you have your room key with you, it will allow you into the 7th floor of the hotel. Just zig zag through the hall and you will find the elevators to the rest of the floors in the hotel.

Beautiful hotel, this was our second Kimpton stay with our 50 lb Portuguese Water Dog. I will always seek out Kimpton, everything 5 bones. Only thing of note: there is little green space that isn’t planted with beautiful flowers, even in January. So finding a suitable potty spot was a challenge.

I cannot stop gushing about this stay! Everything was perfect and that is saying a lot during the height of Covid! Perfectly clean and modern room, easy pkg, and just a warm upbeat vibe!. Staff of pet lovers (especially Alex who greeted my kitten!) and were so kind, friendly and accommodating of special requests (Thank you Rusty!!) and helpful, patient and also super friendly and conversational (you rock John!!).
Was able to walk my kitten nearby at the Vanderbilt campus and was close to Sbux, downtown and many many bars and restaurants! Continental breakfast on Christmas Day was a fabulous touch!!! Cannot recommend this place any more!

Very accommodating of my German Shepherd. When I ordered room service I was afraid he would bark at the knock at the door, so they offered to phone my room instead when food was being delivered. They brought food and water bowls for him and a plush dog bed. Happy dog = Happy Mama. Very clean rooms, no pet odor whatsoever. My GSD couldn’t even sniff out areas that other dogs had been.

Only issue is there is really no place for your dog to go.. that’s kind of a big deal to walk a block down to find grass.. in a strange city at night. Other than that, I suggest if they know we have two dogs to have the bowls and beds ready for us. We made the reservations a month ago. Very nice employee warmed up our corkys bbq for us.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kimpton Aertson with our two dogs. The hotel was beautiful and clean and offered a coffee bar in the morning as well as a hospitality hour with beer and wine in the evening. There's not too much grass nearby (you have to walk down the street to Vanderbilt's campus), but there is a very small "dog park" on the 7th floor of the parking garage. Our dogs didn't much care for it, I think because they're not used to going on fake grass, but they had no problem with the small patch of landscaping right outside. The only annoyance we found was that we could easily get from hotel to parking garage but there was no way to access the hotel from the parking garage without taking the elevator all the way down and walking around the building to the main lobby doors.
