  Amazing Stay

  This was an awesome stay. The front desk staff was extremely friendly. The room was immaculate and extremely comfortable. They called to make sure that everything was satisfactory. They definitely went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable. We'll be staying there again on our way home.

  Very nice, clean, and comfortable. Friendly attentive staff. Front desk called shortly after I checked in to ensure everything was good with my room. There was a free taco, rice and beans dinner until 8 in the dining area in addition to the free breakfast. Easy access to I-10. Had a fenced-in dog run area. I would definitely stay again.

  This place was great and very dog friendly. The rooms were clean and comfy. They had treats for me and my dogs at check-in :) I was traveling alone with my two small dogs and I felt pretty safe walking them around the property alone. The fenced in dog run was a nice added bonus.

  The best pet-friendly experience ever!

  We travel all the time with our Labrador. This hotel was far and above the best experience we have ever had. They really go out of their way to be pet friendly. From the doggie treat bags upon check-in (along with a human treat bag) to the street signs “Goldendoodle Drive and Cocker Lane” in the hallway as well as the artwork in the rooms featuring dogs and cats, it was amazing. And then there is the human friendly touches, light dinner and nachos served in the evening a decent bar selection and a great hot breakfast. The rooms were spotless and the beds and pillows were top notch. It is too bad we don’t find ourselves in Fort Stockton TX very often. It would almost be worth making it a destination. Well done Best Western Plus!!

  We had a great stay. Staff at check-in was a dog owner and very helpful. Room was clean, big, and located on ground floor close to the exit to the fenced dog run. They even gave us dog treats.

  They do a nice job accommodating pets with a special oak treat for your fur baby and a couple of dog runs outside. The room has vinyl flooring, but had a strong order of cleaning products, and not in a good way. The window does not open to allow fresh air in the room. That was the only downside. Breakfast was the typical hotel fare.

  This hotel makes an attempt at a dog-friendly hotel. Outside space is small, fenced, with fake grass. There are some other patches of grass and gravel. Room was musty smelling due to some drainage issues in the bathroom shower.

  So dirty

  The room smelled like a kennel that hadn’t been cleaned. The beds had soiled sheets that were scratchy.
  There were bugs and we were itchy after just a few minutes of sitting on the bed. The A/C unit was very noisy and didn’t get the room cool. The walls were very thin and we heard everything from the room next to us.

  Nothing special, just a good bed, a desk with a low chair that couldn’t be adjusted, and a decent shower. There is a dog run split down the middle with one side for large dogs and the other side for small dogs. I only saw two large dogs there in the evening. There were no dogs at all on either side in the morning.

  More than 5 dog bones!

  This place is amazing! The location is off the freeway and I rarely hear the trucks. Check-in was super easy. The staff was professional and polite. They offered me cookies, but I took the popcorn instead. They also offer dog treats. We have a room on the 1st floor near the back door which leads to the pool and exercise place. Then, there's 2 fenced in dog parks. It's one of the best. Your pets are not allowed in the dining room area. Which is fine. They serve a light dinner and breakfast. Again totally amazing! I felt safe and walked my dog around the hotel.

  There's a nice park called Rooney Park, but it was too hot the day we went. The room was on the 1st floor. I would recommend bringing binder clips to close of the black out curtains and the microwave was kind of loud. I think the down side was the noise. You could hear everything. That said, around 4 am, I woke up to a child running back and forth above me. Bed was firm which was perfect for me. Big room. The AC was funky, but I just turned it off. The bathroom fan did not turn off, but it wasn't loud. I just closed the bathroom door. I would be visiting this place again! Thank you!

  Really nice place to stay

  No issues having our dog stay. I noticed numerous pups staying there. They had a nice fenced in dog area with astroturf. Our dog didn't know what to make of that. On the people front, they had some nice perks, complimentary burgers on the night we arrived, cookies at check-in, and a decent complimentary breakfast selection. Clean and well maintained room. On my list if we're ever back in Fort Stockton.

  Fabulous place for dogs. Don't go for the free meal it was the worst I've ever eaten. You're better off going to McDonald's that is close by. The bar was a nice touch. And in room 126 they really need a new mattress it's way past its prime. But other than that, the accommodations were great and I met somebody in the morning that had a dog so my dog was able to play and get some of his yaya's out before we hit the road again.

  After our vehicle broke down on our trip from Texas to Arizona, BringFido were fabulous. They cancelled my existing booking and found me this BW in Ft Stockton. This place is clean, with dog themed rooms, a small fenced, grassy area for the dogs and welcome cookies for your dog. Staff were super friendly and we enjoyed our stay despite the breakdown.   Great hotel!

  After an 8 hour drive yesterday, we were all happy to get out of the car. The dog runs are fantastic and clean. Traveling in the SW most places are rocks or dirt, the Astro turf was a welcome change. Our room was large and extremely comfortable and clean. We did not use the pool, but the area looked very nice. We enjoyed a simple complimentary dinner which was nice to not have to get back in the car, they also have a full bar. The complimentary breakfast was good and of course they had a Texas shaped waffle maker. Would definitely stay here again when passing through the area.

  The reservation and check-in process was a breeze. I booked a pet-friendly room online and confirmed at check-in that I was bringing my dog. Staff was professional and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, and they have 2 fenced-in dog runs with astroturf next to the parking lot. Full breakfast in the morning with eggs, pancakes, waffles, and sausage.

  Very nice dog runs, fenced and with gates. Helpful, friendly and courteous staff. Our room had an ultra leather pull out sofa and chair, so that you could have the dogs on the furniture and not be concerned about dog hair. Nice hot breakfast in the morning.

  The 1st time we stayed here, it was GREAT. The elevator was out and we got a really nice room on the 3rd floor. 5 bones! Nice outside run, cookies for both man and beast, etc. The 2nd time we stayed here it was a 2 bones night. Shabby, institutional-like room on the 1st floor. Worn, dreary, no cookies. Late night band practice/loud TV on the floor above - which was handled by management once I alerted them, but I shouldn't have had to. It was loud enough to shake the walls. Tip: Ask to see your room and ask to change if it's not a good room.

  So friendly! But beware the real grass!

  This place is so welcoming & pet friendly! Our pup was greeted with smiles and even got pets by staff on our first visit (of two). The dog-run on the side is GREAT for running off road-trip energy! I want to give 5 bones but I had to take one off because other than the fenced dog run with faux-grass, every "natural" rock or grass area was a gamble with the most nasty, hard-to-spot burrs. Talking with other dog-parents in the parking lot, we both suffered the same experience of pulling the barbed thorn-spikes from our pups paws & then ourselves. Just stick to the faux grass and concrete and you will have a 5-bone experience!

  No rest for the weary

  I appreciated that two dogs were allowed here (including my bigger boy), but both the dogs and people in our party got very little sleep. For one thing, there was some kind of party or festival going on in the lot beside the hotel, directly outside our window. The hotel staff informed us that the music/sound would be done around 10:00 - 10:30, but it lasted until after midnight. We also were startled awake over and over again by the slamming of the outside door. My pups were on guard the whole night because of it.

  Great dog run

  Our big boy enjoyed having a space to go off leash and check things out. The hotel was super dog friendly and made him welcome. The breakfast started late and was still having some covid restrictions so we didn't wait there, it was just more hassle than it was worth. The staff was friendly and helpful which is always a win and they called earlier in the day to check if we had any needs they could help with to have ready when we arrived. The room was nice, we liked that it had no carpet so felt better for cleaning in dog friendly rooms. The real down fall was the pillows were not comfortable at all so if you can bring your own you might want to consider it. Overall an enjoyable stay and we would recommend.

  Road trip from California to Georgia. Can’t say enough positive things about this hotel. Super dog friendly. Two Dog run areas for your fur kids to stretch their legs. Even had a cute dog shower curtain. Both my dogs got treats when we checked in. Newer hotel and felt very safe.

  Totally awesome hotel

  We just stayed over one night, and it was perfect. Easy check in, the room was spotless, bed was comfortable, and they even had a simple complimentary dinner, grilled chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, and a salad. Nothing great, but it saved us from going out to find something after a long day on the road. Breakfast was decent as well. They have a nice fenced dog run, actually two side by side, so you can keep dogs separated if there’s a behavior problem. We make a cross country trip a couple times a year, and this will be a regular stop for us in the future.

  My husband and I were on a road trip with our two dogs (one of them a puppy) and we got the dog- friendly room which was perfect! Right by the door to get out to go potty and all hard floors for easy clean up for our brand new puppy. The staff gave us dog treats for our pups upon arrival and there was a gated area outside for them to do their business and run around before our long drive! Absolutely an overall great stay.

  We were very pleased with this hotel. Checkin easy, free FULL breakfast and a quick dinner offered if you so desire, a very clean and comfortable room, LG TV! I Highly recommend. I did read some reviews that the halls might be noisy. That is not something the hotel should be judged on. As my grandmother use to say ‘ you can’t control people who were brought up in a barn!’

  The whole staff was friendly. The rooms were nice and clean. Not only did they have a free hot breakfast (eggs, sausage, potatoes, toast etc) but there was a free dinner the night before. spicy chicken breast and mashed potatoes and gravy. there were nachos too. Because we were traveling cross country the dog area was amazing. we could turn our dog loose in there and let him run!! Great place for dogs

  This hotel was made for our pups. There is a small and big dog park. When we checked in, we were given treats and there was a doggie dish in the room waiting for us. The bed is huge and so is the TV. A perfect stopping point for those road tripping with their fur babies.

  We were turned onto Best Western Plus hotels through this app. Once again the recommendation has not let us down. We stayed here for one night while traveling from Tucson to San Antonio and it was awesome!

  Perfect location. The staff were very friendly, the hotel was immaculate and very dog friendly (including a private dog run on-site). Whilst complying with all Covid protocols, the hotel still managed to make the place feel welcoming with small touches such as complementary dinner and breakfast. Our room was great (120). Large, pet-friendly with separate sitting area and super comfy bed. Would definitely stay again.

  Great customer service, we asked for a room large enough for our 100+ lbs dog, and near an exit door since he can be loud and i didnt want anyone scared in the hallways. They were fantastic on the phone making a reservation(only a 5 min call!), checking in, and rhe room is SO nice. I kind of wish we could stay another night!

  They Do Love Dogs!

  First stay at a Best Western Plus and cannot say enough nice things about this hotel. They even have a small fenced in dog park-like area complete with faux grass and a dog parents’ bench. The GM said they will be adding to it soon an area just for little dogs. Dog friendly rooms have plank flooring and the room was on the first floor near an exit. Doggy decor abounds, and upon check in treats and poop bags are given. Have Guly recommended!

  Stopped overnight in Fort Stockton, Texas and selected the Best Western for a dog friendly room. Very friendly at desk and went above and beyond to see that we were comfortable. Got in late on a Sunday when many local restaurants were closed. The desk checked to be sure we would have a good meal close by and we were very appreciative. We highly recommend this best western hotel in Fort Stockton.

  Exceptionally Friendly for our Dog

  This is a relatively new hotel in great condition. A welcome packet with treats is given at check-in, and there is a barrel of dog cookies nearby. (Also people cookies at the desk!) To keep pets off the furniture a very nice dog blanket was offered (and brought to our room). Outside there is a fenced dog run with a bench for daddy to rest on.

  For people, the bar is open in the evening, and a good breakfast buffet offered in the morning. Modern room big TV with many channel selections. Interesting artwork throughout.

  The single king bed room that we booked was awesome! It had laminate floors, easy access to the pet friendly/handicap rooms from the side entrance, and they even had pet treats by the front desk. Overall is was an awesome stay, and definitely would book again/recommend to others!

  The Best Western in Fort Stockton is one of the best places we have stayed with our dog on our many travels. Unlike other pet friendly hotels, the Best Western isn’t just pet friendly, it’s people friendly too. It is clean, attractive, and the staff are very helpful and pleasant. It also has a great dog run area.

  The room was designed to be pet friendly and easily cleanable. The gated pet relief area was an excellent and safe place to allow my dog to run around. You can leave your dog in the room alone providing he/she is well behaved. I will book there again!

  This BW Plus has good staff, very clean rooms and grounds, and a great pet yard for the dogs.

  They also have a bar with light evening meals and plentiful snacks throughout the day. My husband really likes the breakfast.

  We had a great stay at this hotel with our dog. Staff is courteous and helpful, the room was exceptionally clean, and they even had a little bag of treats for our dog at the front desk when we checked in. There is a fenced dog run on the side of the building, adding to the pet friendly qualities. Highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a place to stay in Ft. Stockton.

  Clean, convenient, great for pets, great staff

  We’ve stayed here three times and have enjoyed each stay. Staff is very friendly, from front desk to housekeeping, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the dog yard is a really nice touch. We all get tired of leashes while traveling.

  Oh, and there is a bar onsite so you can enjoy a beer or glass of wine at the end of a long day.

  This is a lovely, sparkling clean hotel. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was superior. Snacks provided throughout the day and very convenient to Int 10. No restaurants to speak of other than chains in the area but if you have to be in Fort Stockton, this is the place to be

  Best Place to Stay in Fort Stockton

  If you have to be in Fort Stockton (I wouldn't recommend it), then you can't beat the superb accommodations offered by this wonderful Best Western Plus hotel. Modern, clean as a button, so very comfortable, staff extremely friendly and helpful, and first-rate amenities (pool, jacuzzi, workout room all excellent!), I would recommend this hotel without any reservation. Big plus: a fenced, off-leash workout/potty area for doggies. So very thoughtful and appreciated!! Someone gave the design of this hotel very close and good thought...such a pleasurable stay. Thank you!!
