Lassie and Rin Tin Tin were famous stars on the Kanab movie scene, as well as many well-known humans. The Parry Lodge has been updated, but with the history of western films preserved. A charming place for both people and dogs.

It’s probably the smallest motel room I have ever been in. The heater was noisy during the night. The bed was comfortable.

Excellent property and very centrally located. The only issue was that my wife went for the free breakfast first (stayed with the dog in the room). My wife came back from getting breakfast and she was told that they were running really low of food (at 7:15 am!). I never even tried to go get food so I did not eat.

The rooms are cute, clean and convenient for loading and unloading pets. We love that we can drive right up to the room. Plenty of places to walk the dogs. The hotel was walking distance to a number of restaurants. Also, the breakfast that came with the room was better than most.

The Parry Lodge was an excellent stop on my road trip. It’s only 35 minutes away from Zion National Park. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was warm & delicious. They had a decently sized pet area. The whole outdoor part of the property seemed well maintained. The rooms are a little out dated but I think that’s the whole point! They also have a heated pool and play movies every night at 7pm at the barn.

This historic lodge housed many movie stars during the making of cowboy movies around Kanab. It's a fun place to stay and everyone was very nice, especially Amber at the front desk. Nice grassy pet area too.
