Description
Cringletie House is a stunning baronial mansion, built in 1861. Nestled in 28 acres of own ground, gardens and woodlands. It was beautifully and comprehensively renovated in 2004. All public areas and bedrooms are individually designed to the highest possible standard. The hotel has log fires in all its public rooms. The restaurant with is hand-painted ceilings serves culinary delights created by the award winning chef Paul Hart and his brigade. Everything is geared to provide the guests with the ultimate comfort in stylish surroundings. Service is professional, but informal and friendly. Service buttons in all public rooms act as they did in the old days: summon the butler for that cup of tea, or perhaps something stronger. The 400 year old Walled Garden is something very special. Reputed to be the oldest in Scotland, it not only produces the vegetables for the kitchen, but also boasts an open air games area and seating for quiet reflection.
