Drury Plaza Hotel Columbia East welcomes two pets with a combined weight of 80 lbs for an additional fee of $50 plus tax per night. Both dogs and cats are allowed. Well-behaved pets may be left unattended in rooms for no more than thirty minutes, but housekeeping will not enter the room. There is a grassy area with a waste station for pet relief on the property. Pets may not enter public areas of the hotel, and, when possible, use stairwells instead of elevators. This hotel is a newer hotel with a great fitness center and lovely public areas. Pretty standard as far as dog areas with small patches of grass and poop bags, but it was good enough. After a long day of driving, we love the “Kick Back Hour” where they provide free drinks, snacks, and dinner food so we don’t have to go out again and can just relax. It’s not gourmet, but the chicken Alfredo, salad, etc. is good enough for us. I particularly enjoyed the fitness center with its weight machines and treadmills. Not all hotel fitness centers are created equal and this was one of the better ones.

We had a sitting room in addition to bedroom. Very spacious and well worth nominal additional cost. Variety of options for full breakfast. Green space and poop bags provided for our darling 60 lb dog.

It was a nice place to stay, comfortable bed, clean. I was pleasantly surprised to get three drink tickets a day for use at their happy hour, and breakfast and dinner buffets were also included. However, because of the location right off the highway, there was a lot of traffic noise whenever we stepped outside and people and cars were constantly coming in and out. My dog is terrified of everything and everyone, so he was constantly trying to run back to the car. :) Whenever we tried to visit the grassy areas out back to potty, he'd freeze up and behave as if he had horrible PTSD. I finally just gave up and bought some diapers for him. So, I probably wouldn't bring HIM back to the hotel, but other dogs I saw there seemed chill and well behaved.

Lots of room for puppos to do business. The rooms were super nice. Free breakfast and dinner. We tried to stay another night but they were booked - I see why! 1000/10 would stay again and again and again!!

Perfect spot on the highway for a stop. Rooms are nice enough. The Drury hotels are a good hotel for mid level travelers. I did not take advantage of the freebies, but felt the value. Good.

I just returned from a road trip. Liked Drury so much I chose to stay at this one on my way back. The Plaza does not have first floor rooms. But second floor and speedy elevator worked fine. Clean, quiet, comfortable. I have an Irish Setter and there was plenty of room for her crate. Lots of grassy area to walk and it was relatively clean. This chain offers 3 free drinks, dinner and breakfast which is amazing. I want to compliment a staff member who rotated to both Drury hotels on my trip. Bobbie went the extra mile for me throughout my stay even coming to my room to make sure I was able to get the horse race I wanted to watch on my TV. It is rare to find staff that makes that extra effort for an enjoyable stay. This hotel has an exceptional staff. Also want to acknowledge the gal who tended bar as another one who went that extra mile. Hoping to stay at Drury in the future and am sharing about them w my traveling dog friends.

What a great hotel! So clean, staff and management were friendly and helpful. The room was beyond clean and spacious! My kitties were in seventh heaven. Even my skittish kitty was comfortable. Very quiet. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Stayed here after a 12-hour drive with 2 stressed cats. Could not have asked for anything better! Quick check in, room was so clean, large and cozy. Quiet hotel and parking lot was brightly lit and felt safe. No weird crevices for cats to crawl in and not be able to find but spots for them to hide until they felt safe to explore. Comfy beds. Large shower with excellent pressure. Right off the interstate and next to tons of food options. Honestly this stay has ruined us, nothing will live up to it! Thanks!

Staff was very accommodating when I realized I had booked a room on the 6th floor and with a pet I prefer to be on one of the lower floors as we use the steps with our dog. Clean rooms!

While the rate may seem high, considering the happy hour refreshments (that more than met dinner needs) and the full hot breakfast, it was a bargain given the great accommodations and wonderful service.
