Hotel Misión Comanjillais a secluded getaway located 13 miles outside of the city of Leon and surrounded by beautiful gardens. In 1855, the hotel was used as a place to rest and relax by traders heading towards other mining communities. The hotel is now a Hacienda that offers 125 rooms decorated in colonial modern style, each with a terrace view to the gardens or the pool. Just steps away from the hotel lies the aquatic park, Parque Acuatico Comanjilla, which features waterslides and a pool with that come straight from natural thermal sulfur springs. Guanajuato International Airport is approximately 15 minutes away by car. Queretaro International Airport is two hours away. Hotel Misión Comanjilla offers two thermal spring pools that will leave your skin and body feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. The natural sulfur in the warm 96 C water will give you a feeling of silky hair and a sweet smell on your skin. Thermal springs are believed to have therapeutic and relaxing properties for treating rheumatism and arthritis. The hotel also offers different spa treatments, a children's pool area with toys and mini slides, jogging trails, a gym, two tennis courts, beach volleyball courts, an arcade with video games, and a movie theater. The Garden Restaurant is surrounded by beautiful gardens and offers international cuisine. The Garden Bar is also on site.
