a&o Rotterdam City is a fully modernized hotel with a friendly atmosphere and personal service. Centrally located within walking distance from the shopping center, theatres, cinema, World Trade Centre, city hall, concert, Congress Hall de Doelen, and numerous excellent restaurants. The hotel is easily accessible by public transportation as well. On the ground floor, which connects to the entrance and reception, one will find the spacious breakfast room and three function rooms. These are, as well as the bar and lounge, equipped with air-conditioning as part of the expansion. Also available are studio apartments with hotel-service and a fully equipped kitchen for guests requiring accommodation for longer periods. In short, the hotel offers a congenial atmosphere, comfort, accessibility, and reasonable rates expected and are appreciated by both business travelers as well as tourists. All 116 comfortable rooms, including four suites, are equipped with private bath and showers, toilets, hairdryers, telephones, color TVs, radios, and coffee making facilities. In 2001, a new wing was added to the hotel with 70 rooms, breakfast and meeting rooms, and an enclosed parking garage. The rooms are fully equipped to accommodate all modern demands including air-conditioning.
